  1. 6 years old and still going strong. Got to love the U6 tubing they used back then.
  2. Nice bike and I like that obstacle it's leaning on in the 1st pic. Looks like something that could be really fun to ride in a number of different ways
  3. Not 100% reliable but getting there slowly. Statistically speaking about 15-20% fail.
  4. There's a trials park in Krakow, http://www.hasajzacnie.pl/ covers pretty much everything you need to know. Click "jak trafić" in the right menu to bring up a map of how to get there.
  5. Probably because there is no point in making 10 frames to fill up the gap between 1010 and 1020 for those who find 1013 too short and 1015 too long
  6. Cheers man, that's really helpful especially as you've also gone through a few different brake setups yourself. Going over to Bonz wheels soon, hope to put an end to this. Don't really want TR rims, they're soo heavy The Sport and SL rims are the same thing. Before the new range of SL rims was introduced, the only difference was the colour. Now, the only difference is that Sport rims have round holes and SL's have square holes (as far as front rims go obviously, the rear is quite different).
  7. Ok, correct me if I'm wrong but if that frame would make it into production, surely it would not be light. So I'm not sure weight could be a selling point, especially with all the light Koxx's and the recent 1.2kg Echo stock frame. Frames in trials are getting more and more disposable - ride it a bit, break it, get something else. I'm all for this design and find all the negativity in this topic rather juvenile - if you guys don't like progress and innovation then just stick with the Pure frame which is essentially a few straight tubes welded together. But if it weren't for people who are trying to make something new you'd still be grinding the seat clamps off your so called trials frames.
  8. I can't see how it's possible to change the geometry by just installing shorter/longer tubes. You'd need to replace the connecting bits too which essentially means replacing most of the frame.
  9. Well I know it can in a way but here's the problem. I've had a TT SL front rim for 3 years now. 1 year ago my brake started performing poorly. Up until today I've tried Cousts, Yellows, CRM's and recently Phats. The braking on all these pads was piss poor with very little hold. The rim has a sharp grind on it but that doesn't help, neither does tar or resin. I've also used a series of brakes, from SL's to TR's and HS33's. The brake mounts have been faced and I'm using TR clamps. To put it short, I've changed everything over the past year apart from the rim itself. Every time when applying resin the rim is de-greased so it's nothing to do with contamination. Has anyone else had a problem like this? The problem started roughly 1 year ago, it's driving me nuts.
  10. I hope this works because I really want to see this make it into production. We need more innovation in trials.
  11. I'm pretty sure Karpiel made a 20" trials frame at some stage. It looked completely different though.
  12. I'd investigate it to make sure it was meant to go into the letter box in the first place. edit: investigate as in check the address but I see what you did there...
  13. Just for those who haven't got any idea:
  14. It hasn't got wheels, it's got balls. 6 of them in total, if the driver is a healthy male. If running costs are no issue: M5 V10 Estate with the semi automatic gearbox. Mainly because it looks like an ordinary car and I wouldn't feel like a twat driving it. And for the V10 engine.
  15. It's cheating, but it's still huge.
  16. I wouldn't assume it's stuck if you're using a 2ft extension to undo it. Try 4ft.
  17. What about the Because 26" frame with a seat post? From what I recall it's a bit similar to the '04 Pure.
  18. I don't know if this is a coincidence but you've caught CLS's sidehop style pretty much perfectly.
  19. Apart from what's already been said, the front wheel could have not been tightened properly to the fork.
  20. For me that's pretty much perfect, the whole package.
  21. Bonz rims are the lightest trials rims currently on sale. Tyres are around 450g front and 650g rear. Can't imagine using anything lighter without risking snakebites on every move?
  22. I doubt they'll want you in hell buddy. Your fate is to walk the earth alone and bone sex dolls filled with helium which didn't quite make it off the ground.
  23. Target was sub 8kg, I think it's around 8.15 with these cranks.
  24. Recently got involved in building up a superlight Piranha, this is the result (apart from the cranks which were meant to be SL but Echo decided not to make them anymore): Click image for lots of pics.
  25. Haha I wouldn't have guessed that this is a car ad
