Incorrect use of a downhill bike. Something I used to do in 2004 before I switched specifically to trials.

    Messabout #22850

    Another pallets messabout
  4. I'm pretty sure you can still order from them, not sure if you'd want to though.
  5. No come on, that's more than Triton where you get superior customer service and don't need any aftercare You had one, didn't you? We get custom frames over here, they're about 200 quid. The only problem is that they're really custom as in you order a custom design and then they apply custom changes to it. The result is a frame which somewhat resembles what you wanted.
  6. Don't mean to sound like a dick, but why not try and work for the distinction yourself (which they expect you to do) rather than have others do it for you?
  7. Yes you could, you just need to imagine how they'll shake about once kicked.
  8. Yes, he's very well known in Poland, he's been riding for ages now and takes part in almost all big rides and comps. Why do you ask?
  9. Haha glad you like it These pads are the best set I've run since the old Coustsinks from 2006. Recommended
  10. These aren't Heatsink refills, they are made by a fellow rider. I think he sells them through ebay, they're dirty cheap. This is the soft compound, there's also a hard one which I'll try on the front wheel. The rim is over 2 years old now and was CNC milled down to 630g since day one. Had a few grinds too, all together it's been through quite a lot of riding. That's why I'm not expecting much but I'm still amazed at how it's holding up. About the booster moving around, yes the top bolts have to be really tight to clamp it properly. So ideally one should tighten the top bolts first to maximize stiffness and reduce the chance of over tightening / bending the clamps which are made of a really soft alloy.
  11. Made some changes, thought I'd post them up. Modified rim, Revolution spokes, 17:15 gear ratio, Trialtech SL single speed spacer and a new Rubber Queen tyre: New brake pad refills, best I've ever run. Beat Coustsinks hand down: And Trialtech High Riser bars + some headset spacers to bring the bars up and backwards: Currently 8.38kg. Going to leave it at that, maybe try a Pure '11 frame in a few weeks.
  12. Love it, love the orange
  13. It's like that 26" Czar street frame from a few years back, that sold well Surely the only point of a seat is so that you can sit on it? This is as pointless as designing a full suspension trials frame and then welding up the shock absorber.
  14. So they've used old clips to make a trailer for a new vid Can't wait though!
  15. Has this been mentioned? I have no idea where this pic is taken from. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=188221864545805&set=a.188221847879140.43880.187784951256163
  16. I'm not a good benchmark. Been using them since they came out and I go through 1 pair every season. But then my riding isn't big and it's fairly smooth. I do lots of moves to front wheel though.
  17. Controls will be around 415/45, depending on which exactly you have (there were 2 types). I'd personally go with Echo SL's, sure they crack but they're really compact, stiff on a maggie and very light. Just replace them before they snap and you'll be fine.
  18. It's all about truth and colourful fonts.
  19. I just really like voting and posting. But we do have an odd story which was going on for years. It was about too small pictures, one of my grandmother and one of my grandfather. They hung next to each other at different heights, my grandmother being above my grandfather. Both frames were identical in size. For a few years, these pictures would frequently fall to the ground overnight. This stopped after my aunt switched the two pictures around so my grandfather was hanging higher up. I'm sure there's a logical explenation to this but it was really weird getting up, walking through the living room and frequently finding these two pictures on the ground in a corner.
  20. Might be worth mentioning that 12.5% is a big difference
  21. You mean Danny Mac, don't you.
  22. I don't even know where to start, that's the problem I merely made a point that TGS is popular because it's easy. I never said it was good to limit oneself. Personally I've been riding for far too long to care about mixing it up, I can only manual in my dreams and manuals are a great way of combining moves. Obviously lines are great but I only find them interesting when you stay on an set of obstacles all the time without having to drop onto the ground and carry on to the next obstacle. This is why I love natural so much, it's just an endless line.
  23. Yeah, been trying to get in touch for weeks now. Can't PM, can't email?
  24. I think you completely misunderstood me.
