I don't go to a gym but practice Krav, sometimes we have music playing. One of the songs that I've managed to identify is this:

Here are my dragons, had them for around 6 years.

Couldn't be bothered to read all the replies but perhaps one of the problems is that some of your contacts are just childish? I don't get this at all to be honest, almost all the people on my friends list are people I know well or like so I'm actually interested in what they have to say. And since most are mature, they don't post crap or go onto facebook in order to cry to the world. Just choose your "friends" more wisely and the problem should go away.

Certainly the first 2 points, not sure about the last one

Now that's one of the most remarkable things I've seen posted on Trials Forum.
-
I found this and suddenly realised he's not a small skinny Chinese person. It's a shame that website doesn't have new material. I'd love to see some more riding from him.

Can we say that styling wise, Rockman is the Porsche of trials bikes?
-
Looks like a lot of fun that!

Then you need to look again.

Cheers, I looked at the weight again and remembered how I got on with a 2.4" Nobby Nic. Spent more time repairing punctures than riding. If that's your experience then I'll stick with the 2.4", it performed brilliantly. The Trial Queen is just a prototype tyre though isn't it? No confirmation that it will go into production?
-
I've just sold my semi-worn 2.4" RQ and am looking at getting a new one for the upcoming season. I can see on the Tarty website that both 2.2" and 2.4" tyres have the same height so theoretically the bounce should be the same. However, the 2.2" is 7mm narrower. Does the narrower width have any adverse effects on how the tyre performs? I mostly ride street since there is no natural nearby. I run a low tyre pressure too, set up to compress most of the tyre when launching gaps and sidehops. The only reason why I'm considering the 2.2" is the lower weight.

Only watched 10 minutes so far but have been smiling all the time. I'm amazed that Josef has managed to pull off such a massive event, hats off to this guy and whoever helped make this happen. I must go this year, it's so close to where I live considering people from all over Europe come round. Also the guy on the gold 20" Kamel, who is that? He's got a sweet style. And what's up with those guys riding 80's trials bikes? Is this some sort of competition where you're given one and asked to negotiate an oldschool trials course?

Monty frames have 110mm hub spacing, the hub is designed for 116mm just like all modern frames. The lack of snail cams between the hub and frame effectively mean that while you can get the wheel in easily, you're missing 3mm worth of spacers on each side. There's little you can do about this without cracking the frame in due course.
-
It's different = I like it.
-
Used to ride one on a Team long, it was a stock Monty stem roughly 120mm in length. It rode surprisingly well with BT 760mm flat bars (lots of rise) but that was back in the days where I didn't much care about geometry and how it affected the way a bike feels, but more about just riding.

All I can say is that the GU is definitely going to be the strongest out of those. Despite not looking like the old massively CNC'd TP's, they're actually very solid. Rockmans ride very well but they're not the strongest stuff out there. Saw my Slate break in half when it was still warm outside, didn't inspire me with confidence to try that brand again but I'm sure many people will recommend it. The Foxx is a frame for light riders, there's a 70kg rider weight limit on it. Can't comment on the rest.

Cheers, wasn't aware that these are available as spares! edit: Mark, since you'll be looking, doesn't the Reset bb come with Ti bolts rather than steel ones?
-
If ever 22" bikes go into production, that's what we'll look like on them.
-
Not that I'd consider a TA cheap but to answer your question, I don't know Here's the problem, the stop on the VP cup is in the wrong place leaving a gap between the bearing and cup. I could have a spacer made, but since this bb is fairly high quality stuff, I wouldn't like to bodge it.
-
Some time ago I stripped the thread on the non drive side Reset bb cup. Was using a steel replacement from a square taper VP but found today that the play in the BB was in fact wear of the steel cup and not the bearings. It was never a tight fit either which is probably why more play appeared throughout the course of the year. Since cups are going to be pretty hard to come by, can somebody recommend a cheap BB with an aluminium cup matching the parameters of the Reset one?

Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't Born been around for only half a year or so? I'd guess that these bars are OEM, so effectively every other carbon bar with the same geometry is in fact the same bar and most likely all are made in the same factory to the same standards.

I think that 18:14 would be possible on a normal chain but you'd probably have to split the chain to remove the wheel. I can't imagine it getting loose enough to remove by hand. TNN booster works really well it's very compact and protects the hose too. Definitely a worthwhile investment. The SL brakes are amazing. Been running them for around half a year now. Currently using an old leaking TR lever on the rear brake because I had to sell the SL lever. As for the funbolts I had to file the caps down roughly 2mm so they clear the dropout.

Built this up yesterday because the frame was pretty much redundant due to severe transport damage. Had an ordeal with gear ratios since the frame is designed in such a way that you cannot run any sensible gear ratio with an 18T sprocket or freewheel up front and a single link chain. You need to use a half link. Currently running 17:14 which will probably be ok for the time being. Massive leap for me, I've been running 18:17 and 17:16 for over 4 years on 158mm cranks. Now on 175mm. Frame feels very nice, it's pretty long but feels quite lively. Can't wait to give it a ride but with the amount of snow outside this isn't going to happen soon. Chain tensioning system is amazing too. Weight is temporary as is half of the spec, if I decide to stick with this frame I should get the bike down to around 7.9 before spring.

Got me thinking the other day, are there any goals you've set yourself or things related to bike trials that you'd like to accomplish before giving up this sport? For me it's got to be riding the south of China. Been something I've wanted to do for years now. I still haven't reached a stage where I can freely fly off to China and have fun but whenever I can't be bothered to ride for a longer period of time, I think that I need to continue in order to realise this "dream".
