Man I'm sorry but that's one of the worst teasers I've ever seen. Part of a teaser is to encourage people to watch your vid, you can do that by giving a demonstration of your riding. Performing a few backhops and falling off your bike won't serve that purpose. One can't even tell from that vid if you're a good rider or not.
You're new here so I'll fill you in. No need to bump topics every half an hour, this is a forum not a chat. It's generally acceptable to bump a topic once every 24 hours.
One of the ways of making sure they hit square is to face the mounts with a big file. Saw it on a TNN video somewhere, tried it on my bike and it improved matters a lot. You basically file two opposite mounting points at a time.
Just measured a CD and it was 1.25mm thick. That could work on the non drive side but since the wheel usually shifts to the right under load it probably won't be so good on the drive side. Good idea though.
Seen it before but good repost. There's a vid floating around where he lifts 140kg with two fingers apparently equalling a world record. Puts the power this man has into perspective really.
Pretty much what Ali said. I've heard it from a number of experienced wheel builders. That's not what you see on manufacturers' preview pictures because it doesn't look as good but the proper way is to have the heads facing inside.
That. Though to drive on the road I'd have none of those three. People in such cars look like complete tools. Something like an RS6, M5 or C63 would be so much nicer, not attracting the attention of crowds.
I discussed this with Deng around 2-3 years ago, his reply was that it's a good idea but changing an industry standard is tough work.
Hope this happens sooner or later though, it's a big step forward.
Don't usually bother posting pics of bikes I've built up but I like this one a lot.
Weighing the bike really got me thinking, back in the days an XTP weighed pretty much the same and that cost a fortune. Now one can buy a reliable and light bike for 800 quid. I spent half that on a Team frame 5 or 6 years ago
Echo tyres aren't a part of the set but I put them on because they look pretty swish.
There's a Pablo from Spain, I think they call him Chocapic?
It took me a while to figure out that you're not him because you both have what I call a Spanish riding style. Really good to watch
Manual dream!
This time, on the contrary to the usual manual dream I was learning to manual and was getting better and better. Don't remember how it ended though.
What's wrong with a +70 bb? Nobody is going to come down to your house, point a gun at your face and order you to ride one of these. Don't like it, don't buy it. Probably going to be stupidly overpriced anyway.
