  1. How do you get the wheelbase and bb - top of headtube measurement to display?
  2. You're the chap who got bit by a snake and decided to take lots of pics rather than do something about it? Funny thing that green lizard. I have 2 bearded dragons which are now 6 years old but I don't have any pics of their current condition.
  3. They're fine with angled rims as well, just need an hour or two for the pad to bed in. My money would always go on the TR mounts, they make life easier.
  4. Thanks for the spec. The slack head tube angle really puts me off in this frame
  5. I've been running 158 cranks on a stock for 4 years now and they're great. Mind you I run a 17:16 gear ratio but I've found this to be a very good combination.
  6. This would usually be caused by a slow leak. And as mentioned many times above, you need to do a re-bleed or screw the TPA in a bit.
  7. This is rather interesting. Do you have a spec sheet somewhere? I'm looking at building up a brand new bike for next year, would like to know what direction to go in. My current bike weighs 8.6kgs, I can't imagine 7.7
  8. This forum is now complete.
  9. Got to love the "bottom bracket fixation" in the spec list Beaut.
  10. One of the unwritten laws of this forum is that if your life doesn't evolve around chit-chat, you're not allowed to post here.
  11. I'll be the one to say it then, if they've given you such a task in college it's because they want YOU to come up with the idea, not get a bike forum to do the thinking for you.
  12. Maybe not this specific video was posted tens of times but many similar ones. Yes, it's quite insane.
  13. I'm not going to say get a life because you obviously have one but why do you care so much? It's just a forum dedicated to a sport you no longer ride (?). You've got a wife, you've moved to the US, you've got a home - surely that's something to care about, not a pink user name
  14. I know a few older beginners (30+) who have little time to ride and yet they seem to enjoy the sport a lot. It's getting through the first few months and developing basic skills that's a pain in the arse. From then on it's smooth sailing. You might enjoy your first steps but many people don't. Most important thing is not to get put off by this because the sport is very enjoyable once you learn to actually do something on your bike.
  15. Cheers man Prefer the key in your mix though!
  16. Yep, great stuff! edit: Mike, what's the tune @ 27:00?
  17. Perhaps you're just not a mod rider. Many people aren't. I spent 5 years on a mod and couldn't ride for shit, then went to stock and suddenly in 2 months my riding improved more than in the past 2 years or so. To the point. Bunnyhops are not common since most mod riders just do static moves but they're the best way to jump up things. You also need to be way more energetic than on a stock since you've got less "cockpit room" to propell yourself forwards. Personally I would only ride a mod now for the fun factor. Spins and stuff are so easy on these bikes.
  18. Theoretically. This was a cheap printer (it is no more) but what if an expensive one pisses you off. It's not a good idea to get emotional over an expensive piece of equipment because you're going to loose a lot of money. I'd dearly like to meet the people responsible for designing these shitboxes and their software and just punch them in the face really hard.
  19. After the 1st minute I was thinking meh yet another kid who can't ride yet thinks he's going to be a Danny Mac. But what came after that was pretty nuts. He's clearly on a mission, those foot jam tailwhip 180's were pretty good to say the least I want to see his riding in 2 years and shot with a proper camera.
  20. Been wondering on many occasions if anyone else thinks printers are the most evil devices ever made or is it just me? I only have to print something once every month but every time I do, I end up with a heart attack and the printer often ends up flying out the window. Been through 4 printers this year and 1 multi device. For instance today I spent half an hour trying to print a small table on the back of about 15 invoices. Half way through the first invoice the printer detected a paper jam which wasn't there and insisted it was still there for the next 15 minutes. To put a long story short, I managed to print 4 invoices in the next quater of an hour and now I'm off to buy a new printer. I use a printer for this to save me time for gods sake. To avoid having to use a stamp and enter all the fields manually which are all the same. Hand on heart I almost NEVER manage to print something, there's always a problem of one sort or another. For a few months I couldn't print Word documents in black (just a blank piece of paper came out) but PDF's were fine. So every time I wanted to print something, I had to convert it to PDF first. Seriosuly, f**k these things!!!! /rant
  21. As do all bars. 221Ti's are among the strongest bars you can put on your bike.
  22. What a great rider. His style has changed so much since he made his first appearance with TRA.
  23. It's not a negative response, rather a post aimed at helping you understand that you're wrong. If you think a 1080 is "harder" to tap, just learn to tap properly and you won't need a 1100 frame to do taps. By the way, how on earth do you want to make a bunnyhop machine with such a wheelbase?
