I would genuinely like to know if and how many Ozonys frames you've broken. If you're treating Bruno's sponsorship seriously then we will never find out but still, it'd be interesting to know.

Meh. It's easy to say. I *really* get put off by such behaviour. Imagine if a girl was covered in puke and chased you around, whould you say yes even if she was very pretty? I guess not. -

That "problem" I had last page. Yep, she's definitely hitting on me. This sucks. She's probably the prettiest girl I know and she's also the kind I really like. But when girls take the first step, they totally put me off. So now she's chasing me and I'm running away not being able to help it. -
Remove all the stickers, the insulating tape around the chainstays and the hoses, tension the chain and just clean it up. It'll look a lot better.

Best pads I've ever had were old Cousts (ca. 2006). They were insanely good. CRM's would probably come second but their wear life is pretty crap and they're very soft which gives you a nasty lever feel. I've only tried the LGM's out once on another bike and that was enough to decide to introduce them to the market over here. They were as good as the old Cousts or better even.

That's the logical expelnation but it's not like she doesn't have who to hang out with. Going out tomorrow, will see what this is all about. For a moment I thought this was somewhat related to my dad who she really likes and that she wanted to get to know me too. But the amount of attention she's been giving me recently isn't normal. She can't cheat on her bf, we're all essentially a big family and it would instantly come out and ruin everything. It depends on how much self esteem you have. If you get rejected just ignore it and forget about it. In such situations I always like to think that the girl would have regretted her decision if she got to know me, and that the's obviously not good enough for me. Such thinking is not always true and it's a bit big headed but it really helps you just ignore the whole thing and move on. -
I know this is not meant to be a thread for edited vids but this fits in here far better than in it's own topic:

So you make a topic asking for handlebar advice, everybody says Trialtech yet you still stand by your initial choice. What's the point of this topic then?
-
Echo TR's last a few months of normal riding. Echo SL's I have personally and they're ok but nothing more. Trialtech is the way to go

Being pursued by a girl and I don't quite know why. She's a few years older than me, she has a bf who I know, both along with many of their friends are very good mates with my dad (they meet every week at a pub and have been for the last 6 years), her brother is a good mate of mine. Sometimes she'll come over to see my dad and then spend hours in my room talking to me or wanting to go for a walk/bicycle ride/whatever. Then she's texting me saying she needs my help with installing a shelf, or that she's coming back from a long trip, passing my village and wants to pop down and relax. She can't be hitting on me, she's too smart for that. The chances of somebody finding out are about 1:1. What the hell is going on? -
I like that. Tomm I think you're right about the 3G having GPS. That's the one I'd go for anyway, no point in saving a few quid and then having to buy a new device to get functionality you could have got in the first place. Perhaps I'll wait for the HP Slate, it might be more of a PC. Been reading up on the iPad and it looks like it has a few nasty limitations, the lack of multi-tasking being a bit worrying especially as I'd not infrequently be using it for navigation + video. Still not sure though. Someone recommended I go to an iStore or whatever this place is called and try one out myself.

Might actually get this over a 24" I've been thinking of recently. I'm not sold on the idea but I trust Dave and Inspired enough to buy a full bike without spending the next year thinking about the geometry and parts it's built on. Must say I imagined Dave slightly differently.
-
Only experience I've had with these bikes was an Inspired with a 120x17 Trialtech stem. That bike was atrocious. What should a 24" street-trials bike feel like? Normal street bikes are flicky, very short and have a pretty upright riding position. At least from looking at the geometry, a street-trials bikes should feel completely different - long front end, high bb, slightly stretched position. What bar/stem combo would you recommend with an Echo Urban frame (1040/35/73)? I'd like to be able to bunnyhop easily, for the bike to be flicky but also fairly good for trials riding. Obviously for riding trials I have a stock bike, but not being able to sidehop easily or gap would put me off.

TR's are pretty good too from my experience. Note: they are not rebranded KMC SL chains.
-
Ok so one more question here because I have a feeling that my mate is talking rubbish. Can you upload music/videos that you haven't bought in the iTunes store? Also does the lack of multi-tasking create any major problems?
-
Or an HP Slate apparently. I don't want an iPhone, I have some old Nokia that drives me up the wall with how complicated it is. Besides, I don't want a mobile phone but something with a big screen that can be mounted in the car whenever I use it. A tablet PC might not be as neat as an original tv/dvd/obc, but it's going to be a hell of a lot more useful. Bronz, if I'm correct it has GPS, have you tried it out? Can it be used for navigation or just for pinpointing your position and map browsing? Also, is the 32GB good enough in terms of capacity?

Are they caged? If so, check the bolts which secure the cage to the body.

Most of the new SL range + a GU frame. Rest is from Trialtech. The thing with Deng is that his parts are good value so they will be popular. Those who have a slightly higher budget will probably be more inclined to look into other parts.

You're fine man, nobody on earth will understand that.

Since I move around a lot, I'm looking for a mobile entertainment device to stop me from getting bored when I'm waiting for something/someone or stuck in a mile long traffic jam. This would mostly be for in-car use, can't see it being useful anywhere else where I just use a laptop. Has anyone got this thing and if so, would you recommend it? I'm slightly biased since it seems to be rather expensive for what is essentially a web browser, video and audio player and not much else. I'm also slightly worried that being Apple, it will keep colliding with my PC habbits - both limiting file sharing between the two devices due to lack of support for a given format and having to get used to a different interface and web browser. So is it just a toy you'll get bored with or something that's actually handy? I'm not going to go to Starbucks and read an online newspaper every morning on it

I've come to a conclusion recently, wonder what you'll think about it. Even today most mods have around 55mm bb rise. This was a "standard" set many years ago to make the bikes similar in feel to stock bikes which at that time had 0-20mm rise. It allowed for the bar height between the two to be roughly the same while maitaining a comfortable position. The stock bikes have progressed - we've found that playing around with the bb height, having a longer and higher stem can really make a big difference. At the moment most stock frames probably have around +40-45mm rise on average. So what about mods? They're still based around the very old and outdated concept. Very few manufacturers have tried making a high bb mod with +70 or even +85 rise. I had a go on one of these bikes not so long ago (some white/silver/pink Koxx) and as much as I don't enjoy mods, this bike felt superb. It felt like a proper genuine trials bike, not a scooter. What do you think? Isn't it time for the market to embrace the change?

Probably not. Personally I would never trust myself with such a car. I had the same problem with the S2000 which was very unforgiving, I was scared of driving it but despite that, I still drove it fast. Surely the state should pay out? It's their responsibility to keep the roads safe. How did it end? -

I see your point but any kind of publicity for this sport is a good thing. Perhaps not by UK standards where it is recognised as a normal sport (at a guess?). The Danny Mac vid is not a good example I think. You're talking about a phenomena, a video which has literally conquered the internet. Talent shows will always be pretty shallow. It's up to the viewer to read up on whatever he's seen. But it's a start! Regarding the vids I posted and Krystian who starred in them. Nowadays, I will even get old couples (70+) walking up to me when I'm riding and commenting on what I'm doing mentioning that it's called bike trials. Since it's a sport they've seen on the telly, they treat it a bit more specially than if it was something they haven't seen on the screen. On a few occasions I was also informed of what Krystian is up to nowadays and was asked if I know him. Personally I think I'm in a fairly good position to gauge how influencial a talent show is since trials is nowhere near as popular in Poland as it is in the UK - where I imagine the general public is aware of the existance of this sport and might even treat it as a detrimental activity. Over here, there has been a massive increase in awareness regarding this sport after Krystian appeared on TV. I treat it a bit too personally since I basically run the trials market in Poland but I'm also trying to promote this sport. Therefore I support any kind of publicity, be it just demo riding which as you say doesn't exactly reflect the sport, or a proper trials video making the front page of a newspaper. Not sure what point I was trying to make but in essence - talent shows have a positive effect on how the sport is percieved by the public even if they don't really reflect the essence of trials.
