  1. My friend who took these pictures spent the last few days photoshopping them. Here's a photoshop of the Moni. I can't believe he actually did this, all the spokes, holes in the rotors etc. Must have been a hell of a job
  2. I kinda like the Brisa copy but gloss paint would look better.
  3. Yes mate! That's a FANTASTIC idea. I'm not too positive about all the rules etc, as they kind of imply that it's a competition even though you say it's not. None the less, I'd love to see people giving this a try. It would motivate riders to do interesting stuff as opposed to just tapping and sidehopping. Personally I love riding on a wall and doing as many different moves as possible, it's just so stimulating and fun especially if you're "competing" with another rider.
  4. Going through exactly the same thing. Got a nice bike hoping it would make me want to ride but I haven't ridden it properly for months. What Meteor suggested is a good idea. Try a different style, lines, spins, manuals etc. Don't try going bigger, have fun on small walls and try doing things you've never done before. It's much easier than you might think. Learn to switchfoot maybe? It's like learning trials all over again
  5. Maybe we should all just walk around in a thick layer of bubblewrap?
  6. i thought you had the same time zone as us surely that's not right?
  7. Same here. This one looked professional and was definitely something new, just not to my taste. I just prefer vids that are more to the point as it were, not just artistic if that's the right word.
  8. Well, those were actually BB5's. After going from BB7 to BB5 on the front, i found those brakes don't really differ in terms of performance. As for the rear though, it was a bit too weak. Obviously you could get it to hold really well with the speed dial knob, the downside of that was that if you didn't completely let go of the lever, the rear wheel wouldn't unlock. Not too good when you're doing a front wheel gap.... Decided to get a 220 Hope because it's braking power is comparable to the BB5/BB7 with the SD knob on the "maximum" setting, yet it doesn't have this annoying issue mentioned above. Plus, a 220mm rotor is bound to be as powerful as a rim brake. Going to stick to the Maggie for a while, quite enjoy the noise and bite it has.
  9. That's amazing, you've got to do the forks as well!
  10. Um, my Dengura started leaking after 20 minutes of riding, just found out the pistons are covered in oil. Have I set a new world record?
  11. Google is a good friend. Every time I don't know what something is, I just use Google's image search. Works almost every time... That's what a commonly used trials freewheel looks like. Usually though, they've got 18 teeth.
  12. Put one on my bike a few days ago to give it a try and I think I'll keep it. It's quite impressive how nicely the brake works on oil, it's just as responsive as my old Maggie was on a water bleed. Can't judge it otherwise, haven't given it a proper ride yet.
  13. Silly people! You ought to be shot for wanting snow
  14. How about doing the forks as well? The problem with the super fancy paint is that it rarely fits the rest of the bike. While the frame looks amazing, the whole bike looks a bit wrong if you get what I mean None the less, good luck and looking forward to seeing the result!
  15. Will this not make the forum very slow? edit: what's the name of the trialskings guy tapping that box ?
  16. You're bound to get such replies in a topic asking about gloves so here goes: Ride without gloves. Get yourself some comfortable rubber grips like Monty Echo or TryAll, forget about foam grips because they're awful. After a while your hands will get used to riding without gloves and you'll be less smelly and won't have to spend money on pointless gear.
  17. Yeah, one of his best vids. Any idea when the Tra dvd is coming out?
  18. keywords which might help in finding the topic the free dvd tra austria can't think of any others
  19. Gigapipe DH's are pretty good!
  20. 7 I think, videotaped my parents putting presents under the tree
  21. I used a huge vice to install a few headsets recently, worked brilliantly. It takes a while to actually get everything perfectly straight but once you manage it's dead easy. Wouldn't use it on a King headset though, it's just wrong
  22. Greetings

    Adam Bessell

    You're a nutter... :o :o
  23. Nope, quite short. It's a high-bb frame and a stem like that helps it feel fairly normal.
