  1. Might as well bump this topic and ask here You having any problems with the wheel moving around in the dropouts?
  2. Thanks, just the kind of feedback I need! What kind of tugs do you use? The ones with two small screws or the ones with the nut?
  3. Well, can people who USE/USED these frames tell me whether the wheel keeps moving in the dropouts? I was going to sell a whole bike on a modstock A1 (accidentally got it instead of a normal A1) but the customer says that he doesn't want it because his mate has big issues with the wheel moving around in the dropouts. Is that true or does he just have no idea about how to tighten the bolts?
  4. It's funny how you can instantly recognize a professional camera
  5. I'm sure that being a comp frame, it delivered extra bounce which allowed him to make it. Can't imagine that being possible on a deng frame. Great advertisement for Atomz!
  6. I think "Team War Rider" rides that gear ratio on a Czar. Not sure though.
  7. Very good riding, but Ben Ryan links bmx and trials much better. That was pretty much a bmx street video on a mod.
  8. Exactly my thoughts, very nice bike there
  9. Yeah that's Gerrardo Garcia from Spain. Definitely the most exlosive mod rider I've ever seen.
  10. Short, mainly because mods only make sense if they're short If you want something long, get a stock
  11. Far away (Poznan), but please give me a shout before you come over, I'd love to go there and ride with somebody new oh yeah and I've tried a mod, wasted 5 years riding one, it was a counter-productive period for me Rode street as well as freeride, downhill and xc. Not much left to experiment with
  12. Fantastic bike, really like those frames
  13. As bad as that? 30MB/s is more than enough, surely that's not a lot by todays standards?
  14. Nah, been using a PDA so far but it's just not practical. Putting aside doing projects and writing documents on it, I need a laptop that will easily cope with editing HDV which is why it needs to have at least 2gb of RAM and a very powerful cpu. Not really looking for a gadget. A mac would be good, but I've never had one and don't want one. I can see it being more of a problem for an unexperienced user than a beneficial choice.
  15. Sorry for spamming the forum with another "what laptop" question but this time it's a bit different. I need a laptop, been looking at the Acer TravelMate series with a 12" screen. Went to have a look at one live today but they must not have treated me seriously since they didn't want to switch it on so I could have a look. The cheapest ones with a Core 2 Duo processor are about 600 pounds but I thought of spending an extra 300 which would allow me to get one more powerful than my desktop pc. Then I could replace my desktop with a laptop and just connect the keyboard, mouse and monitors to it. So, I'm sure some of you will have come across a very small laptop like that. Are there any downsides of it's size, like it being difficult to write documents on, make presentations or use graphic and video applications? (screen res is 1200x800) Also, is the performance of a laptop lower than that of a desktop computer with the same spec? And finally, what are the graphics cards on these things like? The laptop I'd probably be getting has an Intel X3100 card which takes memory from RAM if it is needed. Will that be ok for games like NFS Carbon, C&C Tiberium Wars? Don't really play games but it would be nice if they worked, could come in handy during long journeys. Also, how does one sync data between a laptop and desktop PC? Can it be done through USB or does one have to use LAN? Are there any sync programs for laptops? here's the exact model in case any of you have worked on one and can give an opinion on them Any help would be appreciated

    Tensiles!

Well, the splines in Tensile cranks are indeed brilliant. If the cranks were also rigid and durable, they'd be marvelous. I think the thing most people are missing is that they are very lightweight. You can't really expect much from light cranks. I'd be very happy to send mine back for a half price replacement and keep using them but they're not broken, nor are they cracked. It's just that riding a 3rd year on the same cranks which don't belong to the strongest on earth is not a comforting thought.

    Tensiles!

Providing you like their geometry I found them absolutely appalling. Monty Ti bars ***!
  18. Sticky aren't really a good investment if you want to ride street. Maxxis CC or Monty, both have a similar pattern though CC's wear is apparently slower.
  19. Loosing interest myself, have been for a long time. A few months ago I had a choice of either selling my bike, or spending a huge amount of money on a Ti frame which would hopefully make me want to ride again. That didn't work. Nobody rides over here, the spots are boring and running a trials shop has totally put me off riding because I'm dealing with trials all the time and just want to get away from it. Getting myself an A1 in a week, hopefully that will make me want to ride again but I doubt it
  20. Youtube Video -> Original Video Footage from last month, was bored so I decided to edit something. Nothing more extreme than a tap since my forks are very badly cracked

    Computer

Had a similar problem but in my case 2gb showed up as 512mb. Sent the RAM back to the shop, they replaced it and everything has been working well since. Those were Goodram sticks. 4GB is a lot but it depends what he does on the PC. I've got 3,1gb at the moment, often find it being 80-90% used.
