  1. Windows Movie Maker if you're using Windows
  2. I have no idea how the Wiki works and how to add stuff so if you find this of any use, feel free to add it yourself. You will need -A can -Scissors -8mm allen key -Crank removal tool -Grease Cut the can up into narrow strips, about 4mm wide. The length isn't really important as long as it exceeds the length of the spline. Place the strips on the spline and bend them into the axle so they stay on. You'll also need to shape the strips so they match the shape of the spline. This can be done with a 4mm or smaller allen key, or a pencil. The amount of strips you will have to use will depend on how loose the spline is. It's best to cover the whole spline (10 strips) but you might not be able to get the cranks on. Put lots of grease on the spline, onto the strips and between the strips and the spline. Push the cranks as deep in as you can, then brake the strips off using tweezers or something equally small Screw them down. The same can be done with a square taper although it's a bit more difficult. If you're not clumsy, razors are the best things to use. Unfortunately, they can't be used on ISIS due to the curvature of the spline.
  3. Thanks! Really wasn't expecting such positive comments, let alone so many The bars are 221Ti's extended to 740mm
  4. Meh, the stock is disgusting but the mod is ok. I'm sure they look better live.
  5. I'd put the money into a bank. That would generate about 250k a month.
  6. Yeah you'll need some adaptors. If the forks you're getting have a QR20mm mount, just get some bushings made - 20mm outer diameter and 10mm inner diameter. If you're getting a Sherman with that hex axle or something along the lines of the old Monsters where the 20mm axle was threaded, you'll need to get special adaptors a new hub.
  7. Brilliant vid! I think you guys have the perfect attitude towards riding. Would love to have such a team of riders nearby
  8. wheel building by Sheldon Brown OBM's guide is really good too, read both.
  9. Lots of my mates snapped their Try-All stems, might be an idea to get an Echo one? As for the bars, it's all down to personal preference. I find the new Deng bars appalling, so I'd go for BT/Try-all Rage/Monty bars, but due to their high rise, you'd need a lower stem. The advantage of bars with lots of rise, backsweep and upsweep is that you can completely change the feel of the bike by changing the angle of the bars without the bars feeling uncomfortable due to them being at an awkward angle.
  10. If you want to do it with a mallet, spray the cups and head tube with WD40. Did that when fitting a new headset into a new frame, hit it once and the headset went in right to the very end
  11. I don't usually laugh at people getting hurt but that was soo funny
  12. It's almost impossible to get people to move references to the new system.
  13. Greetings

    New Bars?

Yep, they just need extending. Best bars ever in my opinion.
  14. Yeah i noticed, but didn't really give it a proper ride because the brakes were the wrong way round Didn't he use an HS33 lever on a disc brake?
  15. Yeah, do complain. Did you protest when he was going to take the crutches away from you?
  16. Probably depends on the rider. I've had a go on quite a few pro riders' bikes and not a single one had good brakes. These guys just don't need them So I guess for a standard rider these Deores would be absolutely useless but for pros they might be acceptable?
  17. Aim - Cold water music Was going to use it in my next vid
  18. Really good video, nice tune and some interesting riding for a change. Was also really impressed with the quality (in terms of colours).
