  1. Well of course, they're comp bikes
  2. That's a beautiful combination of colours Nice bike too
  3. Brilliant brake! Lots of bite and hold, not as much as the BB7 but definitely worth 30 quid.
  4. Very often dream that I'm doing long manuals, backwards nose manuals or squeakers.... or just running very fast. Don't remember any other dreams
  5. Not much although I got a Triton frame recently which cost me a bomb. I always look for the cheapest shop regardless of it's location. It's really worth it if you're getting small but expensive parts.
  6. As always very impressive riding. What I don't understand is that surely Rafal Pisarski is taller than you, yet he looks normal on his bike. You look as if you were riding a 24"
  7. That was some amazing riding
  8. Hub spacing is 135mm You can fit a rear mech You'll probably need a 128mm wide bb with a 68mm shell. Any 1 1/8" fork will fit that frame Cheap drivetrain solution - Echo Forged cranks, ACS freewheel and a fixed MTB rear hub like DMR, Reborn.
  9. Yeah, maybe a second hand Panasonic NV-GS180? That's one of the cheapest 3-chip DV cameras around, for that price it's a bargain.
  10. Hate skateboarding, mainly because you NEVER see a rider who can actually do something. Most of the time they are just riding around on a flat surface and falling off. I have lots of respect for BMX riders though, really cool sport. We have one very good rider in town, he's a total idiot but the tricks he does are amazing.
  11. Yep, TRA's guide is great but the best advice in my opinion was posted by Kennard - "just twat it". Works every time...
  12. Mine are half worn after a year of using them on a grind. Best pads ever, worth every penny.
  13. No need for a booster, it'll just get in the way of your ankles. Don't mean to hijack the thread, but are there any other riders in Dubai? Do you have a trials shop there and is it a nice place to ride? Just watched some documentaries about the place, kinda interested
  14. It's the name your paying for. Same applies to clothing, cars, digital stuff etc. I thought the kogs were 20 pounds though?
  15. Greetings

    Iphone Uk

Meh, Windows Mobile for the win. It's been around for ages and there are hundreds of apps for it. On the other hand, the iPhone is probably much more powerful than most of the PDA's available on the market. Mine keeps crashing or things take ages to install/run on it. Another good thing is the 16GB of memory. Can't think of much else though, it's basically a typical gadget and I can't imagine anybody who actually uses the functions of an average PDA getting one of these.
  16. The one posted above is useless. The fairly good one is the HD1, but that will set you back about 600 pounds once you buy everything so it's better to just get a proper cheapo HDV camera. Besides, the Sanyo records in the lowest HDV standard which is 720p. Progressive scan is also no good for capturing high speed movement. With a proper HDV camera you get 1080i video which is already pretty good quality.
  17. More of a thriller really, don't want to justify my point because I'd spoil the movie for those who are going to see it Just reminded myself of this nifty feature spoiler below
  18. Well, do you want it for video or still images? As far as video goes, it shoots in VGA or QVGA. In other words - it's useless. Unless you're planning to use it as a still camera (which i know nothing about), I wouldn't recommend it. Talking about Sanyos, there's a hi def (720p) Xacti which is pretty cheap and produces rather a good image. But after you've bought the battery, memory card and other stuff, you'll have spent as much as on a Canon HV10 which is so much better. edit: the PC9E is a nice camera but very old and bulky. If you get even the cheapest DCR-HC series Sony, you'll get a better image for a lower price. Had a PC9E, unfortunately it packed up.
  19. VERY good film. Wouldn't call it a horror though.
  20. Get hopes off CRC. They had/have a 10% discount for orders over 100 pounds. And being a British company, Britain will probably be one of the cheapest places to purchase these brakes.
  21. Should be getting mine tomorrow with a pair of SD7 levers, will write a short review after it's bed in. Indeed the XTR levers are immense but also a bit expensive. They cost almost as much as Ultimates yet don't have sealed bearings and aren't of such quality. Local shop (poland). I guess they'd send to the UK but the price including postage would be similar to CRC
