  1. Out of the ordinary day to day spiders, the largest one I've ever seen was on a wall i was riding recently. Not that it has a lot of body, but it's legs are sooo long! So long it couldn't walk properly and looked like it was humping the wall it was walking on. Red dots mark leg span edit: nobody mentioned this one?
  2. Nope, they come in various options. And 270g (or something like that) isn't exactly a heavy brake. In fact, it's bloody light if you equip it with a Hope rotor that weighs nothing. As for the pads, they're resin. So yeah, they're completely different to Hope pads. How they would work with a Trials rotor I have no idea but definitely give it a try. It's not like you'll wear the pads out in a matter of days.
  3. The greatest hits of the 50s' (if it exists) The greatest hits of the 60s' (if it exists) The greatest hits of the 70s' (if it exists) The greatest hits of the 80s' The greatest hits of the 90s' I'm fairly serious.
  4. definitely rocks, street is so boring and repetitive
  5. Since you can't ride, make the most of the extra free time you'll have. Make yourself more attracted to girls by getting skillful at something. You know, like numchuck skills, bow hunting skills, computer hacking skills...

    G-turn

Here's a good one, the thing is that by looking at that vid you can't really learn how it's done. Youtube Video -> ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">

    G-turn

Can somebody give some advice as to how to do them? I've seen them on videos, seen them live and still have no idea how to do one. I find the most difficult part is to start doing the backwards nose manual after the turn. How do you get the bike moving again once you've done the pivot?
  9. Well i was going to reply to this yesterday but i'm not sure. Isn't the Deore M525 pad compound like completely different to the one used in more expensive brakes? I thought they used a softer compound which is why rotors supplied with M525 brakes have very few small holes.

    Zhi Forks?

Yeah it's probably just over-exposed. This is pretty much just a guess, but I've seen the quality of Zhi products and they aren't too good. So it might be that ZHI forks are Urbans that didn't pass quality control if indeed Pulo have something like that? It's more likely though that they're just the same forks but with a different logo, just like V!Z and Atomz.
  11. yeah it's in faq It'll fit better in a 221pr, if you use it in a 221ti you'll snap the frame sooner or later due to the different hub spacing. You could always machine down the disc mount on the frame, caliper and the rotor mount on the hub. That's what Oakley did to his bike and he ran that hub without any adapters. Probably a better idea if you don't mind grinding a hub worth 250 pounds.
  12. Just get a disc hub so you don't have to re-lace your wheel if you ever want to go dual disc.
  13. Do you have a sister/brother? If so please give me their MSN so I can ask them to remove the shift and "1" keys from your keyboard.
  14. Brilliant! i love your riding, it's so creative music was good too, could you share the name of the tune with us?
  15. Might not have made it clear in the 1st post, it's not me in that video. It's just a lively section from a long vid which i thought you'd like Did all the editing, camera work etc. but not the riding
  16. Well, a couple of days ago a mate of mine bent the lever and the lever body of his Echo brake as if it was made of plastic. I'm pretty sure he'd snap a Magura lever if he had one but the deng brake is clearly not super strong. I don't understand how people stress "CNC" when talking about parts and their benefits. While this technology might be a very valuable for cutting out ie. high performance engine blocks, for bikes it's pretty much just a gimmick.
  17. Stem is good, not sure how the Try-All risers look like but if they're different to 221Ti's, get those and extend them to 740mm. You'll love them to bits. I run a similar setup (130x15 stem) on an Adamant A1 06, which is fairly similar to the new GU. Feels great, so much better than with old Zoo! bars.
  18. Looks really nice, not sure about all those spacers under the stem though
  19. oh well it seems to be working now
  20. You sure about the 110mm spacing? 221Ti hubs have 106
  21. Happy birthday man! :1eye: :wizard: :zorro:
  22. had exactly the same problem with an hdv camera, had to use a different program for capturing what camera are you using and how are you connecting it? edit: for troubleshooting try these programs, all of them worked properly on my pc while premiere 2.0 refused to capture and crashed -hdv split (think it captures dv as well) -sony vegas 7 trial -premiere cs3 trial And one more thing, are you using vista? If you are, that might be the cause of your problem. Try disconnecting the camera, uninstaling it, restarting the pc and connecting the camera up again.
  23. I wonder what idea JT will come up with?
  24. Here's a section from a big vid I made yesterday. Since the full vid won't be of much interest to you, here's the best riding in a nutshell. Starts off with my mate trying to break his forks, a bit of riding in the river and some streety stuff on rocks towards the end.
