  1. Look around the forums and you'll find one that split into two 24mm rims If you're smooth and don't ride much it should last a while
  2. yeah that was great, nice variety of moves i'm sure you realize the camera angles aren't too good so theres no point in me moaning about that pinch gap!
  3. Partz, you're missing the point a bit. It's great he made something like that, he has a unique part in his bike which nobody else uses and that's all good. It's definitely easier to set up with which I can't disagree, it's probably more difficult to hit and damage as well. But there is absolutely no need to write untrue things to justify an interesting design which obviously has some advantages over a normal setup.
  4. Indeed they are incredibly good tyres but aren't at all that light. They're about 860g which is amazing for the rear taking into account how snakebike-proof they are, but nothing special for the front. I've got one on the rear which is now getting close to 700g (so worn) and i've still only caught 3 snakebites since october, run a very very low pressure as well.
  5. The wall is pretty small, I'm surprised you have to tuck that much to get up it
  6. blimey, didn't you have problems with breathing after that?
  7. Liked it but the music was not quite to my taste
  8. Saying Jake has no idea what he's talking about, then writing such bollocks is a bit silly. A hose splitter does not increase the braking power of a brake. In your case, it is acting like a kind of placebo, making you think your brake is much better which in terms of power it is definitely not.
  9. Just measured the tyre, it's about 52mm on a Tryall rim which I presume is 39mm?
  10. 2.1" is what i've been using on the front, had a 2.4" on the rear and got more snakebites in one day than throughout my whole life of riding a mod (fact).
  11. It's a big responsibility though, you'll start uni all over again, supposing you loose your motivation in the 2nd year - what then?
  12. Schwalbe Nobby Nic. It's not superbly puncture-resistant (caught a couple throughout the past year) but it's quite grippy and only weighs about 450g.
  13. Definitely much less 800 is what 07' 221ti's in very good condition sell for
  14. Got exactly the same problem, been out riding no more than 6 times since the beginning of June, and if i do go out, i prefer to sit around on a wall rather than ride. Was even thinking of changing to XC or Road, but just couldn't be bothered to get a bike. Basically i just can't stand riding the same spots in the same order and doing the same stuff on them. What would probably help us is a change of frames or bikes. Can't think of anything else, unless there are any rocks in your area.
  15. Definitely my favorite natural vid so far The moves at 2:00, 3:40 and 6:00 are just insane
  16. Scary Movie 4 3/10 - biggest piece of crap ever
  17. They look really good but not as good as rims made of hydrogen would look like!
  18. Surely this setup is much more spongy? After all you've added a hell of a lot more hose to the system.
  19. Very nice bike, they're great to ride as well
  20. Not fond of the geometry, but looks interesting. Definitely a new idea
  21. Inur One of my mates got fairly drunk and inventive on a party about 5 years ago and thought it up. Googled it a few years later to find out that an inur is a certain breed of dogs.
  22. That was excellent, loved every bit of it. We need more vids like that on this forum
  23. Has somebody got a blueprint of the lever body?
  24. Much preferred it to the previous one, the first 15 minutes were absolutely great. Started a bit too quickly but had a nice flow throughout. Can't wait for your funky house mix. edit: it's grown on me, brilliant work!!! love it
  25. My knowledge about carbon fibre is not huge but I'm pretty sure that it shatters if you hit it with something sharp.
