  1. If the problem persists in the future, try disabling all programs that are listed in the startup tab in msconfig (start>run>msconfig). Might be caused by software which automatically boots with windows.
  2. My advice would be to wait for her to talk to you first, and maybe even ignore her a bit. Don't tell her how much you like her, if she asks who you fancy, keep quiet. Being unapproachable is something that dives most women crazy, from past experience i can say it works every time unless you're drunk. Then you just have to take your pants down and face the music.
  3. Like it a lot, looks like it has character (in the sense that it's not just another colour coordinated 100% deng bike)
  4. Can somebody explain why the wheel always twists to the right? Surely if you apply power, the chain pulls the right part of the hub towards the bb, meaning the wheel should flex to the left?

even though it should be 1080, 1065 sounds like a long to me, mine measured around 1050
  6. V8's have a grease port don't they? You just need a syringe and some grease to lube them. I have no idea how to pull them apart though.
  7. i'd rather not format it or reinstall windows, got a few programs which take half an hour each to install it's NTFS, haven't got a recovery disk as i'm used to re-installing windows every couple of weeks, but as i've done it a couple of days ago i wouldn't like to go through it again, takes ages to get all the settings and programs installed. used the cleanup wizard, saved about 5gb. and poopie, it's really 360gb (it says 400gb on the label but as you say, by that they mean 400,000mb) good idea with the recovery programs, will try that out this is my 2nd install of windows on this hard disk without formatting it but from what i remember i already had this issue with my previous install edit: used this which allowed me to remove the old recycle bin, unfortunately it only added up to 5gb. So there's still 65GB lost somewhere.

I'll be really surprised if you won't end up modding it into a genuine trials bike.
  9. Got an unusual problem. I've got a 360GB hard disk divided into two partitions - 200GB and 160GB. The problem is that the main partition (on which the OS and all files are) is 145GB full, but there is only 75GB of files on it. So basically, 70GB of that hard disk is occupied by files which don't exist? Despite the setting in explorer which allows me to view all hidden files, I can't access certain folders which the defrag program accesses and which I think might contain the missing 70GB of data. The address of that folder is C:\$Recycle.Bin\ which seems to have about 40,000 files in it. Unfortunately, there is no way I can view the contents of this folder as windows says it's empty. Oh yeah, and before you ask, my recycle bin is empty. I've tried deleting the contents of that folder under DOS but it says that the folder is already empty. I'd really like to avoid formatting the hard disk. Unfortunately, due to the size of files i work on while capturing video footage, the drive needs to be pretty empty for them not to get fragmented into hundreds of smaller files.
  10. That's the most useless piece of advice ever. Just read one of the posts above yours
  11. ok sorted no idea why this happened
  12. Sorry, topic posted itslef before i wrote it... fixing I was browsing youtube yesterday, looking at the kind of entertainment that was popular in the 80's. I'm takling about toys, games, video games, tv shows, adverts etc. Everything seemed so fresh and innovative. Kids would get excited with basic toys (now they need RC cars that can shoot rockets), shows were actually fun and adverts weren't stupid. It's only been about 30-40 years since mass media has become so popular and people are already running out of ideas. I don't mind all the crap on TV because I don't have to watch it, but the scary thing is that many people do. All this bullshit is drastically deteriorating our culture, more and more people need crappy entertainment in the form of Big Brother or this show where celebrities dance tango, salsa, rumba etc. (pretty sure you have it in the uk). Sometimes i go back to the shows that were popular in the late 90's, and which i found awful and primitive back then, but comparing to what is popular today, were not at all that bad. This is definitely getting worse and worse, I just wonder how bad it will get until people realize something has to be done about it. I think it's mainly to do with people running out of ideas, today the more controversial the show, the more viewers it will get no matter how stupid it is. Surely there's something more to TV than just money? So basically if we're already short on good ideas, is there any chance that TV will become interesting in the future? Another thing is ads, just look at the Isuzu Gemini ones, they were pure genius. Why can't car ads be at least half as good today? Surely marketing experts know how to promote products but they all do it in the same way. It's just going to get worse i tell you. There's going to be absolutely no contrast between ads at all. Meh, that's it for now. I just hope that in 20 years time the world won't be full of crap as it's already getting really boring. But what toys/ads/shows will people think of when all the ideas will have been used up? Re-use the old ones? That would be kind of good, a retro life... But surely there is a limit to peoples creativity and as of today, I think humans have reached it.
  13. Same with me, used to ride quite often. Now i go outside, ride around for 5 minutes on small stuff and go back home because i couldn't be bothered to do anything bigger. Throughout the last 2 months i might have had a proper ride 4 times.
  14. Yeah well that's the problem. You need to open a dispute for them to look at the case and decide whether or not you have been scammed. Then they refund you the money providing the other guy has something on his account. I can't go into detail since my account has all of a sudden become polish and i can't understand a thing. For a start you need to use the button on the left to the "profile" one. I think it's too late though, you usually have 45 days to claim your money.
  15. Better get a 24" here's my desktop at the moment...
  16. and that T-Mag was his brother's if i remember correctly
  17. Hahaha Some good pics there, looks like you had lots of fun! And that Coust is so beautiful
  18. it's about a year old love his riding, by far the best british rider in my opinion
  19. Family guy, S06E03 (PDTV) the episode in which Meg gets a tank. Would like to know the tune @ 03:00
  20. I'd love to see them do that on walls, even small ones.
  21. Sounds a bit wrong to me. You could also say that over 90% prison inmates have a pair of eyes. How do we know that normal people don't have this gene?
  22. Yeah, Fat Pants is right. Usually when you get a new chain, you will have to ride for a couple of hours re-tensioning it every now and then. It doesn't stretch instantly though, so if it goes slack the moment you get on your bike, the wheel is moving. I can't imagine how chain tugs can allow for the wheel to move though. Have you tried rotating your cranks backwards and looking at the chain closely? You might have a very badly made chainring which causes the chain tension to change depending on how your cranks are positioned.
  23. Pink gloves? Liking the slightly oldschool sidehoppage to lead foot And good pics as well
  24. Can't believe you've gone all green Tomm. Give the new members all the hell they deserve! I've always wondered how it would be to get on a trials bike in 10 years time. Can you pedalkick easily? That requires a lot of coordination, wondering if you've still got that skill. It will definitely come back though, just keep trying.
