I hope i got the right end of the stick here. It wouldn't because there are huge cultural differences around the world. The system that the USA runs on is good, the idea of the EU is good (in my opinion of course) because it integrates groups of people with similar cultural backgrounds. But imagine if we were to connect Russia and China into one huge country. Putting aside the similar political background in the past, they would either destroy each other, or destroy the rest of the world in search for natural resources. There's also another thing that would make this complicated called patriotism which i just can't understand. Ok, I hate Germany and Russia (not Germans/Russians, that's a different thing) with a passion but there's no country that I love. I mean if you love your country, what do you actually love? The president, prime minister, the people around you, the culture or environment? Many conflicts around the world are due to people not having their own country - so having a worldwide government would only exacerbate the problem.
