How can you possibly compare these bikes? They're completely different, the Monsterboy has a huge bb rise and a much longer wheelbase than the Monty. Whoever has given you their opinion has either never ridden a Monsterboy or just favors one of the two because of it's looks. How silly. Might be easier if you specify what you're looking for? It's like asking if one should get a Leeson or a Vinco.

I'd go for the ENO purely because it has a cartridge bearing which eliminates play and allows for more precise engagement. I have however had an ENO and it was by far the worst freewheel ever. Guess I was just unlucky

Dengomatic? 100% anodized-free components. Edit: nah seriously, no idea what it'd be called, but I'd make small stuff that makes a difference. Like CNC backings, Magura replacements (pistons, TPA's etc) brake clamps that would be easier to set up, tensioners etc. Freewheels is another thing but then that's way too complicated to make. If I had the possibility, I'd try and make a freewheel with a Chris King engagement system just for private use, seeing as it's patented. I'd love to have a proper lathe and CNC machine, it's my biggest dream. Pity I'd have to sell everything I've got to get just a good lathe... Working on metal is just the best thing on earth.

Haha I got fooled by that page as well. Googled wheelbuilding and found this ridiculous article about half the spokes pulling you backwards when you pedal and that when removed you can go twice as fast.

Nice video indeed. Loads of well executed moves, you seem to know lots of different techniques as well which definitely kept this video interesting. The only thing this it lacked was maybe some drops, basically you're getting up things all the time

Just put in a smaller bashring. I used a 16 bash on a 18T chainring and it was a perfect fit. No need to change the freewheel.

I'd agree with Meteor on this one, go for the 231Ti. Rode one a few days ago and it was perfect. Seems there's a Monty craze now that Beleay has gone over to them
