  1. Can't you just go around building sites and ask if you can take them? That's how I did it, the workers just gave me pallets because they'd have to pay to get them off the site after finishing the job anyway. I'm sure it's the same in the UK?
  2. Met Veleno, it's very light and quite small (a bit like the pre-2006 E2). Doesn't cost much either, highly recommended.
  3. Didn't somebody on the forum completely tear his 06 Pure in that place and isn't the 04 Control identical to the 06 Pure (not only in terms of geometry)?
  4. I'm seeking simple advice on a back problem. Just want to know if I should go to the hospital (frankly, I could never be bothered) or just wait for things to pass as they usually do. This wasn't the first time I've fallen onto my back, but never has it been so painful a few hours later. I hit the ground head first, and then with the upper part of my back. Normal stuff like not being able to breathe passed within half a minute but quite soon various joints and muscles started hurting which I didn't even touch when I fell off. I could move alright because I continued riding but now things are getting worse, I can hardly turn my head without the spine hurting. Also when I take in a deep breath, the middle front part and upper areas of my chest and spine hurt. It's not a muscle pain, it's the spine itself. Probably the biggest pain is my neck. My back is slightly swollen but I guess that's normal. Should I give it a day or two and see how it goes or should this be taken care of asap?
  5. Yeah, please do that. I'd like to see the rims as well
  6. Having to ride more than half a mile. Also, the cranks hitting my Magura.
  7. Used a Coustsink on the smooth side of the rim and a ZOO pad on the ground side of the rim. Can't say there was any point in it apart from gaining more crank/brake clearance.
  8. I'd say the 2007 Adamant L seems quite nice (in terms of geometry, never ridden one though). Have you thought about a BT 6.0 1100? I rode Rav's bike a year ago and it was just wonderful. A bit "bulky" but the riding position was great. It probably depends on how tall you are, but I think you'd handle a 1100 easily.
  9. One word... wow By far the best looking frame ever made, looks like something special and not just a cheapish design with loads of "drilled bonuses" added to it. It looks a bit tall for 40mm rise?
  10. I used a Magura for quite a while until my lever decided to crack and I had to go disc. The Maggie is nice and strong, good for locking the wheel but that's about it. Gives worse visibility, is very loud when you want to slow down and doesn't really have much modulation. On balance I'd say a disc is better but a Magura is more pimp
  11. Nope, I'd have to connect my kettle to a UPS. God damn it. Give me back my electricity.
  12. It's bound to be very similar to his Koxx replica. I don't think such riders can easily get used to different frames. It was similar in the case of Benito who went over from Monty to Koxx and is still using a Monty bar and stem on his XTP (which is almost identical to the Monty frame).
  13. That's a bit of trials history you've got there sir! Isn't that what came after the ES3?
  14. As the titles says, I'm looking for pictures of bikes with the new black mirror rims. Wondering if indeed they reflect everything in sight or are they just silver?
  15. Uhh, what's the difference between the 06 and 07? The caliper is exactly the same, and I'm almost sure they haven't changed the master cylinder diameter? In that case, what's the point?
  16. Greetings

Big boring and with no style whatsoever Not my cup of tea.
  17. I think that SM's add a bit of "taste" to the forum. Who cares if their name is in pink or if they have access to an SM forum, they're still people like us (within reason of course). In my opinion there should be no new seniors. You don't add new stuff to a museum.
  18. It'll be fine. The disc mount on these frames is very weak and you don't need much force to brake it off. Go for it
  19. I thought he was much better in 1991. But then I was only 5 years old and probably couldn't even ride a bicycle It's funny how his riding is all chaotic although he'd probably been riding for about 10 years already. Trials was so different back then I'd love to have all the old movies of Ot Pi and Canas, I grew up on them (with 160x120 video res.). Really really good stuff. One question bothers me. Why couldn't they make a low seatless frame and single crown fork from the very beginning? edit: this is also quite good youtube link
  20. Are they snakebite resistant? Wondering if to get one of those or a Hansventure to Janson this is
  21. Yeah that's true, not really my scene though. Thought I'd make one video which goes with the trend to see if I'm any good at it. Besides, the frame I use somehow implies a more aggressive style
  22. Bike's great, nice rear brake but take that armored dildo off
  23. Annoys me: -Drop gaps -Wheelswaps onto roadside rails -Constant sidehops -Power moves -Rock/metal Like: -Natural -Creative and smooth riding -A variety of different techniques, not only just one -Interesting music which would probably mean different to what is usually used.
