  1. I've been reading through various topics but there seems to be very little information on these chains. I need one badly as my current chain is going to snap any moment. It's stretched so much that I'll need a half link to be able to set my chain tension as it is now. Money is not an issue, what chain would you recommend that is fairly durable (something between KMC and KHE) and where can I buy it? It's pretty hard to get hold of any half links let alone a good one...

    Oh Noes

Got a short 04 Pure for sale if you're interested About time your frame cracked, I mean you've used it for ages. Pity though
  3. Coustsinks or Zoo pads. Mine drive me crazy, I hate loud brakes. At least they work well.
  4. Hope Trials 180mm front and rear should be perfect.
  5. Solitaire, but it doesn't make me feel any better.
  6. Your attention to detail has probably made this the best looking bike ever (in my opinion at least).

Wow!! That was some very very interesting and creative riding. I want more!
  8. Pace makes fairly similar forks to his, they're also carbon fibre with a titanium crown and dropouts. They cost about 200 quid and can be cut down to any length you wish at a charge of 20 quid.
  9. You can very often find songs in google typing: Lyrics: [a few words from the song] But I don't think da,da,daa will be enough. Listen harder next time you hear it.
  10. The hose splitter won't help. It might be an idea if you put a few layers of insulating tape around the place where you usually brake the hose. This will stop it from bending and reduce the chances of you having similar problems in the future.
  11. Our prime minister went "YES! YES! YES!" on air a year ago when he negotiated something with the EEC. They're still making fun of him edit: Haha classic they must be pretty good considering most of the riding was done when they were totally pissed or had a hangover. The Monty 2007 test was insane Definitely my favorite bunch of riders, but where's Felix? Loved the part where Marco was going to bunnyhop over the bar but couldn't balance because he was too drunk And yeah, german is THE language when it comes to drinking.
  12. Some really really smooth riding, I was well impressed by the skills of that guy. Good there wasn't any music, and not too much editing. There's been too many good videos released today/yesterday, I can't catch up with them. Braunschweig 2006 next...
  13. As a matter of fact it doesn't. Imagine a complete idiot asking a question about brakes. Somebody writes that it's better to unscrew the bolts so the brake can move freely in the pivots. This guy does it thinking it's the best solution to the problem he had which I cannot think of, has a nasty crash, brakes his back and wants to sue trials forum.
  14. I feel really disappointed by the fact we didn't know about this. I live next to Poznan but spend most of the week there at uni. By the looks of things you did find some of the more interesting riding spots though. Kind of pissed off now... mainly because there was some very good riding from you guys and we simply missed it. edit: when were you here?
  15. Heard about it happening to people who used these hubs on stock bikes.
  16. To my surprise, I liked that. Nice tap to front wheel, got to get down to learning it myself. Didn't like the subliminal btc/kot message roughly 2/3 into the vid, or the way you edited that hook. Stock bikes for the win.
  17. Nothing to worry about. Long cranks are used with long bikes mainly because they don't feel awkward and give you more power. It doesn't mean short cranks will be bad, it just means you've got space for longer ones which imo are better.
  18. Hope I understood you, it was quite a challenge. 22:18 = 18:14.75 As you can see, there isn't much difference between 22:18 and 18:15. I rode 22:18 a while ago and it was much much nicer than 18:16. Lots more power, easy to get to riding spots. However, the way a ratio feels also depends on other things like bb rise and chainstay length.
  19. Guarantee is only voided if you run the hub on a radial lacing. Don't send them the whole wheel, I'd guess they could be rather pissed off if they had to remove all the spokes etc.
  20. I'd really like a diagram showing how an SC works. I've been trying to understand it for ages.
  21. At least you've put some good music into it . A few cool moves, especially like the front wheel up, 90 degree tap and the static hook thing. But the 57" sidehop? Wooden board for bounce, lower under the front wheel etc.
  22. Depends on what "dangerous" means. If it's defined by how easy it is to brake a leg or get clobbered on your back, than natural is more dangerous. If you fail to do something and fall back, you may very often not be able to land on anything that's flat and safe. I really f**ked my ankles this summer when riding natural just because I found myself in situations where my leg would fall into a hole or land at an angle.
