  1. I guess you should use a DVD-ripper, ie: here It will convert the VOB files into an avi which should be ok for Movie Maker to handle.
  2. Worth the risk then, over here I think they take your licence away. I'd go for it
  3. Should nail it on a wall and when I get my gear ratios sorted. Currently running 18:18 = no speed at all.
  4. Monty, Echo CNC are pretty bad on me at the moment.

  6. Indeed it is impressive, but most of his tricks are spin-orientated if you get me, hence not too much variety in his riding. Great video and skills anyway
  7. Parcelforce again. Firstly they accepted a frame which was sent by one of the forum members totally unpacked. Secondly, it took them almost 7 working days to get it out of Birmingham and off to another hub in England. That's how long it is supposed to take for the parcel to reach Poland!!!!!! And the parcel left England after about 12 working days. I actually thought I'd never see my frame. I wrote them an email asking about what the hell is wrong with this parcel (gave them the tracking number) and their reply was something along the lines of "If the parcel doesn't arrive 2 months after it has been sent..." The postage was something like 40 quid. I asked Gaz to send the frame by European Express but you CAN'T send it by EE if you haven't got an account with Parcelforce. If however you send it by Parcelforce from Poland to England, you not only pay just about 25 quid, European Express is the only service they do and it arrives 100% on time. I buy lots of stuff from England and the postal service is a disgrace. I'm not talking about companies like DHL which must have set the world record when delivering a parcel to me from Tartybikes 22 hours after it had been sent.
  8. Unfortunately not, because the chain is at an angle. It just gets too complicated. Obviously calculating the length of the blue line is dead easy but it's the precision of the measurements that's an issue. Edit: maybe somebody knows of some working gear ratios? How is a 18:16 on an Adamant?
  9. Ok, so here's the problem. I'm looking for a gear ratio which in combination with 372mm CS will give me a tight chain without the need of using a chain tensioner. I have calculated that a 18:16T gear ratio should give me an ideal tension but as we all know, even a 0,5mm error in these calculations will result in either a loose chain or not being able to get it on. Any gear ratio between 1.5:1 and 1.22:1 is acceptable. Ideas?
  10. I've been riding a Ti which is almost the same as the PR. As far as the geometry goes, they're great bikes once you get used to them - but that isn't easy. And they must be the best bikes for natural riding.
  11. Beautiful! I've always liked the control for it's simplicity, and recently for the way it rides.
  12. That was a very good video! Quite a change from the vids normally published on this forum.
  13. Yes, and uninstalling it solved the problem. Answering your question, yes, the icons resembled the running programs. I'd been using that program for a few months but it turns out that I can run the skin without it. Thanks
  14. doesnt work. the start bar is not here as if it hadn't loaded
  15. I've got an unusual problem with my computer. The task bar and start button have disappeared I've restarted, switched the computer off for a while and then switched it back on with no effect. I have however an unusual "menu" instead of the task bar. Also, if I press the "windows" button on the keyboard, the start menu appears. WTF? Here's a picture of the issue:
  16. I don't believe that would withstand all the force you need to unscrew a freewheel.
  17. That's true. On the short one, the stem will be at a different angle resulting in lower bars and longer reach. Crazy
  18. Monty 221Ti 2005/2006 Echo Pure 1060
  19. That was alright I guess
  20. Haha I remember when we were riding in London and some old woman went up to us and shouted that we were destroying the walls. Staples asked her to show him the damage we'd made (clearly none) and she just repeated that we're destroying them. You can't win. This doesn't take place in Poland though, the public seems quite keen on seeing us ride.

    Chilled Vid

Lovely video. Really enjoyed that! Deinterlace it next time though
  22. Different server please, I can't download because all the slots are taken.
  23. So am I the only one who thought it was boring?
  24. Congratulations on being silly enough to do stuff like that without a helmet.
