  1. Cool, looking forward to it. Not really a fan of online FPS's, I'm piss poor at them and get killed the moment I respawn
  2. Cheers. Downloading Portal 2 now, 10gb looks like rather a long game? Hope it is. Isn't TF2 an online game?
  3. Bored out of my mind, can't find any game I'd want to play. Recommendations? Not a huge fan of FPS unless they have a good plot like DX or ME. Not a fan of racing simulators either (only got a keyboard). Really liked Portal although it was very short. Is Portal 2 worth getting? Any good strategy/economy games out there like the Anno series? Been looking through Steam and can't seem to find anything
  4. Hold on 26" bikes with 180mm rotor isn't perfect. It's okay but will slip on bigger front wheel gaps. I couldn't get mine to hold on a 8ft frenchie without placing the front wheel on the edge of the obstacle. Good on 24" with 180mm rotor. Very good hold on 20" bikes on front and rear. It looks like Echo should make a 203mm version for stock bikes, then it'd be great. Overall it's a good brake altough if money was no obstacle, I'd get a Hope.

    Sick..!

It's not. What do you think would get more views: "sick!" or "Damon Watson / Neil T / Craig Lee Scott Video xxx"? Pavel is well known on this forum. His name and surname is enough.
  6. That makes sense. But then would you expect a 1,5kg stock frame to last longer than it'd take a bb tube to become oval?
  7. Seems you're right. I've been living a lie for 5 years. It's probably JT!'s fault, he's American now. I beg to differ, interlaced is so much smoother. Unless you're talking about cameras which capture 50p/60p rather than 50i/60i. My camera does 25p or 50i, I've never used the 25p for sports because it sucks donkey arse.
  8. Yeah in interlaced video, in progressive I'm pretty sure it's 24 which is why they're a bit screwed.
  9. No, why would it be? Unless I'm missing something.
  10. That's going to look like a mod in your hands Nice bike though, good stem/bar combo.
  11. Euro standard is 25fps progressive or 50 interlaced frames fields per second. Second one gives much smoother motion but you need to remove interlacing and convert it to 50p to retain smoothness else any motion in the video will have lines on the edges. Or you can convert it to 25p which will seem more rough. Your camera will record interlaced video unless it's stated on the camera that it captures progressive video. US standard is 24fps progressive or 60fps interlaced fields.
  12. Are the pads hitting square on the rim, is the brake properly bled?
  13. Steve said he gets his compound from Michael Coustellier. His word should be enough for you guys. I've tried the real cousts against Heatsinks and they perform the same. + what Ali said.

    Films!?

That's so silly I hope we never live in a world where men use robots to fight between each other in fear that they can get hurt. This reminds me of verbal trials riding where you go to a riding spot and talk to your mate about what you'd do, then carry on to another location. It's less fun when you ride alone.
  15. Trials-bikes.com or something like that stocks the "real" pads, although they're no more real than Heatsinks.
  16. Wouldn't call that a mod stem but yeah, a Trialtech 130mm stem will do just fine.
  17. Wow, look at this! /sarcasm
  18. To those who haven't seen it, watch "Pirates of Silicon Valley". It's apparently fairly accurate and also a very interesting film. Steve was a dick but my god was he talented. Whatever business he touched in life he turned into gold. edit: can't spell.
  19. Used a 203mm Hayes HFX-9 (or something like that) on the rear of a GU Typhoon and a Python many years ago and didn't hit it despite getting close a few times. The power was great as was modulation. Also ran a 180mm Mono Trial on a 221Ti and that felt perfect. Interesting fact: that brake didn't slip once, not even on very coarse rocks and Eagle Claw tyres. Usually the tyres would give first.
  20. you need to go for monty kamel
  21. Rocktastic! You remind me of CLS for some reason.
  22. Aren't the "Ozonys/Bonz" rims Neon rims?
  23. Yeah 24" is so incredibly tempting. Every bike I rode felt amazing, just not sure if it'd be better in the long run than a 26". Although I wish Trialtech or Bonz made some proper lightweight 24" rims which won't resemble a tank that has been melted into a hoop. Seems all the 24" rims out on the market now are completely bombproof and sink into the ground due to their weight.
