    Gu Freehub?

look at buying a profile or a king, and if they are out of your budget, go front freewheel!
  2. assuming your buying the sealed bearing hub your onto a winner, there not bad hubs especially for the price if you could find the extra money this hub would be alot better hope hubs last forever
  3. or the 375 on account of it's monstrous chain stay length, thats a modest stock size isn't it?
  4. to encourage you to appreciate what you have left, times borrowed, not spent
  5. not hard since deng left the street bike scene, onza have swooped in with some very decent gear, shame this is comming out after Xmas, if we're lucky it'll be out in time for summer? shouldn't break the £350 mark. well done onza for bringing out a proper streety frame
  6. good riders hop both directions preference is totally random, theres no one right way of doing it; theres what works best for you, i'm not a fan of sidehopping at all, but when i do i'm more comfortable going to the left, and i'm left foot forward. although i used to go to the right very odd

    Dual Disc

not sure what side you ride means, i sidehop to the left, but my riding doesn't consist of sidehops. i have clipped my rotor a few times, it's been damn sturdy and taken the knocks fine it's not as easy as everyone thinks it is to damage your rear rotor, cause no one actually sidehops parallel, you usualy lean into the wall and land with an angle so you'll rarely land plum on your disc i don't think after 18 months my caliper had a scratch on it, but i'm not harsh with my bike, i'm sure someone who's bike looks like it's been through a warzone will tell you a different story but i think you'll be fine, hitting my caliper was never a concern for me when i ride dd

    Chain Problems

try a new chain? your might be stretched beyond use... sliding drop outs right?
  23. people have moved away from the biu style of riding, where landing on the bash plate, to then jump from it to get higher etc. in favour of cleaner uci moves where you aim to land on tyres, bash rings aren't designed to be landed on and used to climb objects, just protect your chain and sprocket so you can hop off and try again, obviously a bash plate does this too but a simple rock ring looks so much cleaner...
