  1. you can run large bearings in a square taper BB, and in a riding situation with low stress (such as roady-ing) the strength is less of an issue, plus the bearings will last for ever and be smoother etc, so they're great for just spinning, square taper really isn't suitable for trials. that said onza muscleman cranks are very sturdy and quite hard to round...
  2. stick with vee's if you already have vee mounts, evo mounts are shit, you'd get better performance from a vee with proper mounts than a hs33 with the adapters. spend the money on some phat pads or TNN pads, a booster and a good lever (SD7) and some nice cable, it will be epic...
  3. that is strawberry George, or Rob as he is more commonly known and wurd, his pro2 is loud
  4. Stay on track with my college work, keep going to the gym (2 nights a week, every week, for the last 3 months BOOYAH) get front wheel moves dialed, learn more camera stuff...

  9. you can ensure there is absolutely no air in the brake if it's completely submerged in water plus you don't need any bleeding tools; you can unscrew the bleed bolts and place your fingers over the holes and put the lever blade to force old water out, and let the new in. winner...
  10. i had to force my trialtech spacers on, but my casette is a bit f**ked anyway, anyone know how much they are to replace?

    New Headset?

the SL hasn't been out 2 years, his frame will be 2 years old, meaning it's had chance to flare the headtube and f**k up before, and it's still working fine? at a guess, anyway, chris king ***....
  13. you've been de-validated because of silly posts/dire spelling/inappropriate posts** **at a guess

  16. why's everyone hissy fitting about the warranty so much? no one complains about koxxs having no warranty at all.
  17. i'm riding 30 miles a week on my roadie and doing 2 nights in the gym every week, has had to real benefit to my riding what so ever although i am a bit more aggressive with riding, it's hard to tell with strength if it's making a difference, or your just pushing your ability cause you want it to seem like it's making a difference. i don't ride enough to actually know though. i seem to be going bigger more often, but usually i'm put off by the fear than my abilities. trials isn't just athletics, you could be as strong, light and flexible as f**k, but if your not comited or afraid of pushing yourself, or learning new moves, you'll be shit.
  18. wanting to draw up some ideas, does anyone know the site i mean? cheers!

  21. the mission comp frame had the built in one, i like the campy seat/mud guard
  22. light components will make a heavy frame feel light, the frame is only 20% of the weight of a bike (2 kgs and 10kg all in) you can save alot of elsewhere and make it ride "light" or you could all man up and get stronger... haha
