ever thought it might be the hub? the flanges ar prety big it might be stressing the spokes or something? that wheel had 0 abuse before you had it cause toby can't break things if he tries. phone tarty see what they have to say? doubt i'm out in lincoln till after december now cause the trains get rammed
  2. that grind looks brutal haha

get a new wheel from santart?!
  4. probably the last ride of the year before the train lines get raped by shoppers, so here's some snaps gappy happy and up mad tuck saving skills some gap sequence goodness pidgeon/bodyweight
  5. his tattoos are like the artwork on the koxx black sky? crazy
  6. don't say your selling it! that bike rode so nice it's unreal (thats if i'm thinking of the one i rode in sheffield?)
  7. credit to the t-pros aren't they xtp geometry clones? making them pretty much win?
  8. but who cares about "La crème de la crème" if your splurging out cash on a front hub get a king... if it was superlight, with an epic engagement system then it'd be worth money, but front hubs are so basic there's no need for silly extravagance it won't offer any benefits over an alloy hub.
  9. but will it be the same price as a rockman hub?
  10. with that kind of money to spend you could consider going rear free hub profile, for instance and running a fixed front end.
  11. not really, it'll cost you alot of money with no benefits except maybe less snapped chains if you sidehop to the right...
  12. height doesn't make a difference, how tall is cls, no one tells him to go stock edit: mods can be easier first time bikes there's no reason not to go stock, there essentially big mods anyway now. most riders who ride mod end up going stock, for some unknown reason. I still wonder about going back after 2 years on each haha. your best bet is to read up as much as you can on products to know what to look for. namely isis bottom bracket and cranks. oversized handlebars. sealed bearings and a good freewheel or freehub
  13. cable brakes for the win! new cables every 3 months if your paranoid, plus the brake feels like new you can put serious stress through a cable as said before
  14. only remove cranks if you have to! the splines are delicate, just get creative with a rag...
  15. Geometry (When measured with Echo Urban fork, available separately) Wheelbase: 1085mm Chainstay Length: 380mm BB Rise: 20mm Head Angle: 72 degrees Centre of BB shell to top centre of head tube: 680mm (26.75") so it's essentially a simtra... with a slacker/tighter head angle (can some one explain wheather a higher degree is steeper or looser, and what efect that'd have please)
  16. don't have to worry about untrue rims, flat spots or bits of missing sidewall with a disc plus you barely ever have to buy pads for a disc brake. you don't need to grind your rims so the sidewalls can last a bit longer. obviously theres a weight penalty and the lever feel of a disc doesn't give you the same control as a rim brake (you can't 'feel' the bike through a disc brake like you can a rim brake, it's weird )
  17. that comes down to your definition of street riding though, street riding for some is mostly taps, gaps and sidehops where a longer wheelbase is beenfitial. for bmxy street a shorter "flickier" is more suitable for bunnyhops and spins...
  18. vee option f t w when they comming out?
  19. we will take the piss, the tops not to bad though.
  20. All forks snap... i'm on my second set of urbans now, my previous pair ran for nearly 2 years, and i rode them with a hefty crack for a few weeks without being to worried alot of the other vee forks on the market are alot lighter so i can't imagine them being any better. i think you get more life out of forks with a rim brake cause the stopping force doesn't all go through one point where the disc caliper is attached but through two points either side of the fork so i'd guess you get a longer life from the fork. but i'm sure someone will prove me wrong here haha
  21. i find if i twist the bars as i do it i can spin on the spot easier if i'm really on form i can do it by just unweighting the back wheel. how are you at doing setp up hops (no pedaling just the little corectional hops you want to use that amount of force)
