    Tgs 24?

i like the idea, surely you'd loose some weight with the smaller wheels and still keep the ease of rolling moves that 26" offer while the bike would be a bit flikier than a stock surely?
  2. echo urbans come as vee and disc, theyre spot on for weight/price/strength ratio too if you want to experiment before splashing out on new forks onza 4 bolt to vee mounts are very good, and theres no need to go full whack for the avid ultimate, the sd 7 brake is only slightly heavier and performser very well (i run one on the rear and i'm a big guy )
  3. i've watched the orignal version it's prety good, very unsettling. definatley worth a watch, i'd recomend watching just the film without and distractions i watched it in college the other week and it didnt grab me as scary but i watched it on my own later and it got to me
  4. rim brake performance is down to setup, if you run two different pads or a grind on one side of the rim you can with a bit of fannying about with working out how past pads move etc, create a modulating brake with alot of bite and hold when you pull the lever fully. plus a vee brake is the lightest front brake option available if you run it from vee mounts

    Chains

trialtech lite is where it's at! i'm a big rider and my chains clocked well past the 6 month mark hardly any wear on the sprockets either cause they're stretch proof
  6. had rear bb7 for 18+ months, f**king awesome brake, even when it wasn't performing at 100% it still held like a beast DO IT!
  7. How old is it? Have you serviced it? does anyone you else ride with have the same freewheel? do they both sound the same? if you turn in slowly and listen closely can you hear pawls engaging seperatley or all at once? have you been riding in the wet/muck alot recently?
  8. no less than 25psi on the rear now i'm on dual ply rocked about 40psi for a year cause i'm a tank and used single plys for ages haha.
  9. meh we want a bespoke one though
  10. flood the free-mechanism space with aroldite, put everything back in, leave to set, hey presto* *free-hub will eventually work loose, skip and kill you** **smash your face/teeth

no one else call trolling on this?
  12. single cage = less weight, thats about it really
  13. run bb7s there much more awesome
  14. save it, look at improving the forks cause the standard ones are prety heavy otherwise, a new bar and stem.
  15. have the magura mounts underneath the seatstays so it's got a clean profile to the frame
  16. what vee is it? what cable/lever you running? cause i got away with stock pads on the rear for a week or two and i'm a heffer, give one side of the rim a brutal grind and the other a medium grind, set the pads so the first pads closer to th medium grind...
  17. also curiouse, are these the same alloy as the urban rims?
  18. bake sale, get sponsored to go college/work dressed up..
  19. no words about the new Yaabaa? looks good if it didn't have a shit freewheel and gear ratio, cough tarty sell it with discounted 16t try-all ones that you'll never get rid of anywhere else cause who really uses 16t freewheels...
