  1. then why do you get the option of front or rear?
  2. Hey all i just wondered what the difference is between a front and rear vee (not performance and ride characteristics) do they take cable from the other side or something?
  3. where is bart anyway? his dinner is getting all cold and eaten...

    The Koxx Foxx

    he was being sarcastic...
  5. yes assuming you can get the right length spokes to meet the erd of your rim
  6. echo urban rim is king if your not a weight fag, and if you are you could probably drill and modify it without much hinderance to strength.
  7. shouldnt you be going specific tf will blatently want trials rims, if you wana research dh rims etc, go on DH-forums? you should be looking at preference of single and double wall, width, disc specific or rim specific? how come trials rims are always "square" not triangular like some mtb/dh rims are we missing out on something with that or is it just a fashion/image thing?

    Chain Snap

lol horrendous setup hops though lol
  9. flip flop hub, fixed one side, freewheel the other side
  10. 19" tyre/rim > discs. you'll struggle to upgrade the onza rip, and the bird (gearing ratio is all wrong!) *will add more later
  11. the deng freehubs are a bag off toss though.
  12. if your part of team tyre removal using alcohol based wipes (medical or screen cleaning) will usually remove the tyre lube
  13. only freehubs worth buying are Pro 2s or chris kings otherwise you want to buy a fixed threaded hub like this and put a decent freewheel ideally one of these but these are cheaper a decent freehub or freewheel is a solid investment cheaper hubs have less engagements and are more prone to skipping (not good) but as you spend more you get a faster pickup because of the extra engagments and they;re much less likely to fail due to the quality.
  14. i ride a fixie (admitedly i'm rocking it with a front brake and a freewheel atm cause missioning home after gym and not coasting fails) but they're alot of fun and they don't need much maintenance or upgrading so you don't really need to fanny about with them to much fast too
  15. only if you can show you've got some balance on what you've landed on, not 1 second of winging it before you've leaned over too far and bottle it.
  16. you dont grease square taper splines/cranks on the interface >.<
  17. if your looking to save weight that badly, ti spokes at 5er a piece...
  18. specialized xc shorts baggy enough to move around without looking silly, plenty of pockets and they have an inner short which makes them super comfy if your riding all day

    built in bashguard? ***?
  20. onzas fully out because heatsink pads are MASSIVE!
  21. i'm not a basher tbf, and its what you said about weight distribution that made me try it a man size disc rotor will make you better though muel peer pressure
  22. if you wipe them then shit on the spokes might drag onto the contact area of the disc (badtimes)
  23. tryall ffw cranks are AWESOME, lighter than most cranks on the market and suprisingly strong and stiff. Burns are king if you don't need a front freewheel though
