gotcha, i presumed you were just swapping the set up on your yaabaa, the other bonus of discs is they make you appear smoother; the wheel/spoke flex can act as a compensator for minor f**k ups, and no magura noise makes it hard to work out what your doing with your brakes, giving the illusion of moar control.

shouldn't you try both and see what helps your riding the most? i find my confidence knowing how my discs behave lets me ride much better, i'd want that at a comp, and on the street...

you get over the lack of noise eventually, i used to be such a tart for offensive sounding brakes, but i don't care cause i know my hope is way more consistent...

plus if you get a puncture it's way less ball ache cause you don't have to contaminate your grind

i spent a decent amount of time on low BB stocks, i had a levelboss, simtra, 07 pitbull, and manged to hoon all over what i used to do on them with a gu. in fact i found myself quite limited on the low frames to what i could do. maybe i'd benefit from trying a lower frame in the future. tgs barges *** for now though.

i didn't realise sub 50 was a low bb, high BB mods are the only way to go, i havent riden a low bb mod and liked it. ever. high bb stocks always seemed better as well. i like high bb cause it means the frames have tiny standovers and look super svelt and minimalist, which has always been part of trials in my eyes... low bb isn't going to ever sell as well when a high bb just makes everything so much easier...

i made two new gaps that i've fancied for a while one from the back of a bench to a sleeper, and another fairly decent sized rail to rail gap

the lever feel on a rear bb7 isn't as positive or light as a front bb7, i swapped back to rear bb7 after using a hope for ages and found the lack of clear biting point a little wierd, but for a front brake you shouldn't find similar issues. you certainly won't be disappointed by the power of the thing.

dual disc if you can, i've been on dual hopes for nearly a year now, havent damaged a rotor, or contaminated one, discs are awesome!

my frame and fork are already raw I want to get the finish on the fork/stem/frame to be pretty consistent. i've autosolled and polished it, but i want the finish to be even beter...

got some maintenance and new parts coming, so i'll have my frame and fork in bits, so i'm wanting to tidy up my frame and repolish it, i used wirewool before, and the finish was great but it was so time consuming i'm hoping there is a suitable disc to use on a grinder to get a nice finish quickly. i have used a sandpaper type disc to clean up my old bash mounts, but that was to abbrasive to give a nice finish. what are my options? Edit: specific names of the types of disc fittings i want to use would be brilliant
