my local subway is halal, it's not a problem; instead of the widdly pork sausages they do f**k off turkey burgers instead and the turkey bacon is perfectly fine. slaughtering animals is never pleasant. and as muel said, the prelude to slaughtering can be pretty bad anyway. here's some footage of animals being gassed. is hallal somehow any worse than this?

the boardman ones aren't bad at all (i'm a halfords lackey) has he decided if he wants it to be road or off road orientated? the carrera gryphon is really decent if he just wants to stick to the road/concrete. plus if you join british cycling you can get 10% off all bikehut stuff, it's £20 to join, so if he spends more than £200 it pays for itself...

bb tool does fit i thought i'd just try and make it work. so i'm good... i don't fancy filing down the axle jake, plus i don't have the means too in my flat

my bb never stays tight. my bb tool isn't long enough to clear over my axle either

they aren't all that, i snapped one when i was a noob. maybe you'd like a simtra? 200mm disc will help the bike feel slugish
