    Tra On Inspired Hex !

MORE PLEASE! was nice to see the bike being suitably tgs-able, has opened my eyes to not writing off my full potential or riding now i'm on a streety build, thanks
  2. did they even have high EP freewheels/hubs in the earlier noughties? cause i remember there only beeing eno's and acs claw back in 2006, seems mind blowing to try that shit on an "old bike" i've tried before, and no way could i get close to that performance on a bike like that...
  3. i see where they're comming from with the idea, i love trials and i'd like to see more of it on tellie, but i wouldn't enjoy watching multiple riders doing the same course on repeat, but skim it down to the best being put under the clock and i know it'll be more balls to the wall and exciting, it's cruel on the riders but it could be good?
  4. hook me up babes i'll do you some slow cooked goodness soon x
  5. UHHH BEEFCAKE WHAT ARE WE YELLING ABOUT just wanted to re: a post muel put aout climbing, i saw him last night in a t-shirt, usually he's covered in jackets, but the difference in his build is very notice-able since he started climbing.
  6. hey i need a quick answer, i'll be honest i have no clue about bmx's, i need to locate suitable bolts for some profile crank arms, i'm on a mobile so i can't google links, any help is massively appreciated links would be a bonus cheers tf
  7. bit of a mind set, if something is wrong on your bike, you'l be inclined to question it and worry about it, so you're preoccupied with thoughts of broken parts, and if your head isn't in it it won't happen. plus a bit of death grip never hurts...
  8. sturdy parts though, the frame, cranks + hubs will last yonks, the rest is more dispose-able and less important...
  9. 350-400quid, needs a new chain, but thats an excellent bike to start off on...
  10. oh hi there, i ride sheffield alot, pm me or something...
  11. the extra size of the bike will definatley help, most riders in the 6ft region ride stocks... the a1 is a sweet bike too, any comment on the spec/price so we can see if it's a bawgain?
  12. what bike are you riding atm is also a usefull clue in finding the right geo stem...
  13. what dan said, each bike is easier for some moves and harder for others, it's like comparing short and long wheelbase and high and low bb rises, they all suite a different purpose...

    Cube Bikes

the hoodoo is shit, if you want a voodoo the bokor would be the only choice (in my eyes at least). i'm a halfords lackey and the current reduction on the bokor is silly (£150 off rrp) if it's out of your budget then you will probably want something else, but if i was buying a voodoo it'd have to be the bokor, it's got sliding dropouts a proper freehub (it's peddle-hop-able) and it's a nice solid bike...
  15. written guide on disc brakes rubbing, why, how to prevent it, and how to fix it usefull sause

    Protein Shakes

if you do buy, hit up my referal code: MP492691 as for choice of proteins this is mp's generic protein, it's good value and nutritionally sound, banana isn't very tasty though. i'm using this atm and went out on a limb and bought 6kgs of it, i don't regret this. also theres this which is a premium one, and it's better if you cba to read the shpeil, i have no experience with it personally. i've also used this one which was fine to, leaves me feeling fuller than other shakes, i use it for breakfast if i'm in a rush sometimes. they do bundles where you set some pills and stuff, but you wanna spend some time reading the reviews and description to see which will best support your goals
  17. i havent used a maggy in time so forgive me if i'm wrong, but isn't there a grub screw that makes the lever move inwards? could you adjust this screw, re-bleed the brake with the screw in, so the lever is in a bit closer for your hand? you'll still have no extra movement but you could be in a comfier position...

    Protein Shakes

if you wanna try low callorie shakes, the my protein low calorie stuff was very good in my experience, the taste was a bit wierd to me at first but i've still got some left and i enjoy it more than some ohers i have, it's got oats in so it's a bit grainy. i've got the normal my protein generic protein, that i alright but very good value for money, best stuff in my eyes is iso2 stuff, shit tastes amazing...
  19. was hoping i'd be first in with titanium holes surely pressurised helium in a container 1cm^2 would offer more lift than the same 1cm^2 container of lower pressure?
  20. that doesn't f**king matter though, it doesn't matter if the chains to long, or just the right length, it'll still be looser at certain points, i have the same issue, brand new chain on yesterday and i still have the same loose and tight spots
  21. so long as the pads are hitting the rim properly then the exact position doesn't matter to much, getting new pads with the rest of your set up should help as like you've said your current pads are probably misaligned, rolling down a hill with your brake on could square the pads up to the rim and improve your braking situation, but if you can afford the whole caboodle then i'd go for the whole lot new.
  22. anyone fancy a ride in the week in sheffield, i'm debating a wednesday or thursday, the weather looks like i will be better on thurday but i'll keep an eye on it
  23. key point, i think mythbusters did a similar thing but they were mailing packages of helium, and the cost of the helium basicly ruined any money saved. but yes the helium would reduce the weight of your sweets...
  24. may be wrong but i think the tnn guy uses them?
