i thought the newer one had a shit freewheel, the 2010 has a tensile (yummy)the 1012 is "18T Onza freewheel fitted to the cranks for great pedalling response, running 18-14 gear ratio." i think the 60click on the 2010 made it a proper bargain... if the new freewheel isn't up to spec you need to weigh in the extra £50+ for a suitable freewheel...

we offer a very decent service at my halfords, i'm quite happy with the way it's run, but our bikehut manager is a proper fan of bikes and he loves it enough to do what he can for customers, it's a good ethic and i enjoy it. but there are some clueless c**ts that work there too.

it's good to use on platform pedals, when i'm 5-10 less i'll touch up my pedals to give me a more familiar level of grip, doesn't last as well as rim use but it's a good one if you lack stick on pedals...

regret swapping my first decent bike, beautifully specced 06 python, probably the only mod i could ride.. i've got a pro2 front hub i don't plan on getting rid of, cause i've had it years, other than that, no care..

i was living on just under £50 a week quite happily at uni, you won't/shouldn't be going out and rinsing £30 a week, the best thing you can do is get over the noveltly of being able to go out on a weekly basis... and cut it out, try and have a few spare hundred for the first week (or two) it will be fun and manic... i rarely went out, and had a fair abundance of cash...

i've just ordered one of the circus monkey hubs, easily the best value hub on the market if your not a brand whore, probably guna have to wait a week to get it though... this is a proper bargain... they last forever too...
