  1. i'm just pure b*****d riding is made of win since uni appears to be rapidly thundering down the shitter...
  2. get a tripod, makes a big difference...
  3. makes you a better rider, the extra weight in the front wheel makes it spin longer so when your on the back wheel you benefit from better balance from the gyroscopic effect edit:
  4. they could also make really sexy sprockets like king ones but hope and made of win...
  5. why go to a king? front freewheel is better, it puts the weight more central on the bike and if you clip a cheap freehub riding it doesn't seem as bad as smashing a king up...
  6. decathlon cables are prety good, only £2 for the inner bit, they're as stiff as other cables i've used just not as far away...
  7. even the 24"s all look the same
  8. vee's ***. these levers (well worth buying the pair if you want to use a front cable brake later too...best cable disk brake going....). i found SD7 callipers to be nice at first but prone to alot of wobble when they wear, i have a set of bikehut vee calipers there very well made, not as nice to look at but there far more sturdy than the sd7's i'm using atm. don't skimp on the cable but don't get suckered into buying silly expensive posh ones, just a new inner wire every few months (i usually replace it every 4 months) i think i'm using this cable atm, but linear slick cables are prety mint too. i really rate the tnn lgv pads, they're the best pads i've used so far... levers - £16 caliper - £16.95 cable - 2.99 / £6.99 pads - £30 that all floats in at under £70, winner

    Headset Wobble

go to your local bike shop, take your forks and crown race, get them to fit any 1.1/8 crown race on your forks and see if you have similar problems with it being loose, then put your crown race on a set of new forks to see if it's right. then it's new forks or new crown race time...

    My Monty

post a picture of the headtube?
  11. wouldn't a cheap HD graphics card get you up to speed?
  12. yeah it'll fit but you're wasting your time with a fixed tensioner like that. if you're budget is limited you can get the same one with a different brand on it for a tenner here however this would be much better cause it's sprung you will achieve constant tension whereas the fixed one will always have loose spots cause the sprockets deform and stuff. but really you should have a hunt for a decent dual wheeled tensioner scroll down a bit... cause they give you really nice chain wrap and if you fiddle with them you can get slick chain tension the adjustable ones (not the rolhoff) are better cause you can tune in the chain line and get everything nice and smooth too... or you could make your own tensioner...
  13. roadie glasses? i've popped mine on for trials on very windy days once or twice...

    Vee Brakes

No! onza adapters are bad and snap happy... go for neon ones. I likes vee's, i've been using them for about 3 years of easily my heaviest/biggest riding and there awesome! lighter than a magura with dedicated mouths and if you kill parts of them then you can usually get affordable spare parts in most bike shops. maguras not so much... heatsinks or TNN pads are the way to go with vee pads, but if you buy a new sd5 or sd7 the wrim wrangler pads are prety savage...
  17. i use rear vee on my tgs sled i know how to set up a brake, the onza ones are just poor...

    Football

because football drives pubs, tv and broadcasting it's prety big business, theres enough money in football, so why shouldn't they? who'd say no to a 6+ figure salary...
  19. it'd be sweet if it had a sealed rear hub... is it isis or taper? what freeweel? and why're onza vee brakes so shocking and dangerous to ride?
  20. the new curve is the lightest 26 frame going... lighter than the sky and the rockmans... how longs it gunna last? why the tank chain? they get stiff and horrible pretty fast, have you tried the kmc k910 it's just as phat and hilariously over built with the same breaking strength, but it doesn't get stiff links (or mine hasn't yet)
  21. such a light spec and then that ridiculous front brake?
  22. i thought monty stuff just ended up over priced when you brought it into the uk... and theres not alot of monty stuff really worth buying imo only their bars and tyres, you can get cheaper stronger stuff elsewhere usually.
  23. dirty great sidehop over a rail
  24. i've been planing the green + orange since last summer, its so fun to ride XD
