  1. used other peoples bikes, prowling TF, have you considered that the lighter the forks the less material is used meaning you have rank flexy forks to? get trialtechs, stop being a weight weenie douchebag and be happy knowing you can rely on them not to f**k up, you'll progress much better with a reliable set up...
  2. if your only earning £15 a week you want to favour strength over lightweight any day so you can avoid buying twice, forks take a lot of abuse in trials, it's not an area on a frame you should look to save weight in, unless your a fan of the dentist. why have you even bothered posting a thread only to disregard every comment thats been posted? trial techs arent even heavy, there less than 900g, dont be a fag, get heavy parts, get stronger and ride harder...
  3. ditched front vee, pissed me off cause there was no proportionality and it felt like i was wasting pad just riding from spot to spot. Didnt offer much hold either. Oh well. Bb7 ***. spec is; 07 pitbull long Urban forks Pro2 hubs Isis middleburns Cheap vee calipers Bb7 Trialtech bars Viz forged stem King headset Superstar pedals. Ditched the front vee cause it sucked for commuting from spot to spot, i didn't like the performance and silent discs ***
  4. i was paying 1.81 a can cause my friend doled out the staff discount on me good lad!
  5. an ogre, mid job rimming is ace, tarty box used yo' frame in progress rims look well bad in the light, not as bad in real gash scene pic + scratch!
  6. touch it up with a grinder?
  7. your porn this may help?
  8. pictures of the set up? also, if your rear hub isn't a pro2 or a king, or a threaded hub, it will be shit for trials, consider an upgrade, if you get a threaded hub like a trial tech and screw on a decent freewheel you can have a monsterous set up.
  9. i use this here is some footage it recorded. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SseyFeo92i0
  10. K type mech hanger 135mm spacing, assuming it's got vertical dropouts, if they're horizontal, like on a mod, its 116mm spacing
  11. tnn yellow crm compound if you can get your hands on it it's epic, my pads are getting old and they've stopped wearing down loadsa bite and hold a good noise, bit poor in the wet but who rides in the rain anyway
  12. urbans are super strong TT undrilled ***!
  13. useless thread start, it'd be better if you said what frame you were using, ultimately the stem you use is down to personal choice but there's usually stems that suite each geo...
  14. use a 20" rear tyre on a mod if you want to save weight, you don't really need all that extra tyre, your simply overcompensating stocks do fine with 2.35 tyres (2.35 swampthing is 56mm across a 20" creepy is 52mm across)
  15. i don't have a freewheel, i rock a pro2, i'll asume it's my cranks/bashring. thanks for the replies!
  16. if it's tight on my choco foot i'll have faster engagements. i don't mind if it's slack elsewhere...
  17. if i rotated the sprocket round would it change? i don't think it's the BB cause i moved the cranks to different splines and it was the same maybe a new chainring up front is in order.
  18. what geo are they? what bike are you riding, and how are you riding it?
  19. pedals are for munging and killing. i doubt there's much perk to epic pedal bearings in trials, in an enduro sport like roadying and cross country it probably helps though.
  20. what would make king pedals so good? if your desperate for trick pedals try burgtecs http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=52461 and carbon under chain stay plates would die with f**ked up sidehops? carbon fibre seat stays might be cool....
