team onza mounts! although i had to take an angle grinder to mine when i put them on my 07 zoo cause the mount for the vee sticks out of the bottom of the adapter (wierd to explain if you havent seen them) really good though good and stiff, well made, plenty of room for adjustment

bb rise cramps up a bike, look for long wheelbase and then buy a big stem like the onza.

i made a disc out of card to cover my spokes but still put masking tape around the nipples. the card worked well but you still need to tape up the spokes for about an inch, then sit the card above the rim (so paint will cover more than half the rim otherise there'd be a blank gap)

sd7 set up is great! i use the same caliper + lever as ali, i'm super impressed with it if your going from 4 bolt mounts and need converters i suggest the onza ones cause you get alot of adjustment and you can run wide rims without cutting down the pads

whats your budget? hydraulic or cable? i'm assuming most of your bike is the same as you bought it, you might wanna save on buying spokes/wheelbuilds twice and buy complete wheels as for the disc brakes, alot of people rate BB7s very highly, with these levers i'm not entering the personal preference landmine of brake cable choices, XTR cable is brilliant in my opinion though

werd we had a whole construction site for a whole summer loads of palets and bricks we had so much fun we even built a house (no joke, possible pics on request). keeping it quiet is really important cause our site got rammed with pricks and druggies, fun while it lasted though

make the vee pads thinner and cheaper won't fit in my setup unless i cut them down.

i'm looking at going to nottingham trent or sheffield hallam to do business with a sandwich year in industry, any comments on the cities, the uni's or the course if your doing it to? hows the ride scene in these places? (i know ridings not the main deal at uni but i'd rather have some company for riding with than not)

run on a smooth rim, with good pads, you can get modulation, but it's not as good as a disc, loud as hell, and your wasting expensive pad

i don't see the need for reviewing helmets they all do the same job, and in trials we don't need the uber air flow that the touring/endurance/roadie/xc guys want, i suppose the only thing that matters is weight and comfort, comforts a personal thing cause we've all got different heads blah blah, and weight is purely down to budget. besides the only people who'll give you a bad review of a helmet are dead...

go team spray paint, i did a shity job, of mine, it looks fine unless you get up close and personal with the rim, i couldn't justify more than a £5ers worth of spray paint for a part like rims that will get smashed + thrown away, unless i was getting a frame powder coated + they offered to do the rims for a good price to boot.
