  1. don't be afraid to commit to spending, if you buy 2nd hand you'll loose less money if you sell up, the depreciation on trials gear is horrendous, take advantage of this + buy 2nd hand for £400 you'll get a bike worth 4 figures new, take it to the fanciest bike shop you live near + to strip, clean and all that jazz, throw on a new chain and you'll be happy as larry if that goes tits up, ebay the f**ker
  2. get a 26" there much better in the long run, you will feel cramped up on one, theres a better range of heavy duty tyres to suite the heavier duty riders amongst us i'm 6,2 and i doubt i'll go back to mods 26" is the way to go!
  3. trialtech notched? echo tr ones are good apparently? tighten your bolts more? file smooth any burs on your frame where the hub usually sits. make the cams work with the bolts (so they push out with the rotational effect of you tightening the bolts. picture of your setup/
  4. granted but your divorce settlement leaves every payment to your estranged rusian transvestite ex wife. i wish the fart i just had, never happened
  5. it'd be cheaper to buy a single wall rim...
  6. moon cheese: granted, your stuck on the moon, with water, no food, and your lactose intolerant i wish i wasn't addicted to this thread
  7. granted, but they'll kill you first i wish i was pregnant
  8. GRANTED BUT YOU CAN NO LONGER SEE LOWERCASE LETTERS see? i wish i could kameha-meha (dragonball Z style)
  9. granted but none of them will sleep with you, ever i wish my assignment was finished
  10. the bigger the rotor the more there is to bend, theres no way you'd need 203mm for a mod, i had 203 on my stock and it was ridiculously powerful it's extra money for no gain, and it's extra weight and making the back end of a bike heavy isn't a smart move, large rotors are favoured cause they disperse heat more effectively than smaller rotors, heat is never an issue in trials it'd be excessive, plus it'd be expensive buy 200mm rotors all the time...

    Am Bored

locd gloves are wank, i've snapped them before, not a sensation i'd like to experience again the zip grips, or any lock on grip with collars on both end of the grip are always a good choice...
  12. you did, with your mum... i wish i could see into the future
  13. hubs are a more longterm investment, tyres are disposable... why bother saving the weenie amount of wieght when you ride a heavy bike?
  14. i wouldn't worry about the wheel being abused by it, once a wheels been locked up, it can't be more locked up. however the further out the calliper is from the forks, the more leverage it has, this is bad for forks, i think 185 is all you need, my mates 185mm rotor on his 20" was absolutely lethal, with minimal effort at the lever. have you looked at different pad compounds?

  16. bar + stem would suite it ok, geo is something like 1080 wb low to no rise bb. did you get my pm/
  17. your genius excels us... considered working for nasa?
  18. self defence fail reckon a hearty rear brake set up could get you in trouble? even on a road...
  19. got a disc obm i'd just turned around to try something (but i hadn't leant into it i was just stationary) then he approached me so i got off the pedals etc, i think he was bored etc. he didn't even mention me trialsing on anything, i doubt he'd have seen me do anything. meh also curious, where would i stand if i clocked him for grabbing my bike assuming he was gunna nick it?
  20. i was riding down a path dragging my brake to clear it (loud, but not ridiculously volume-tastic) i wasn't really trialsing it up and being a dick. pth wasn't crowded and there was shitloads of room, before you think i'm trying to cut this guy off.
