  1. Very enjoyable video. Looking forward to the next 4.
  2. Giacomo Coustellier 246 pts What happened to him? I wish Kenny would start winning again.
  3. Dual BB7’s would look nicer and I would prefer a different seat but the bike is a classic. Leeson’s look awesome. What is the logic behind that additional rear disc brace going to the BB shell?
  4. How long have you been riding?-4 years Favourite or dream bike? Ashton Justice Best place to ride? Stoney Point (rock heaven) Preferred brake set up? V rear, BB7 front Preferred size, 20" or 26"? 26” Favourite make or manufacturer? Marino How often do you ride? Every day almost in the summer Best or favorite trick/move? Manuals Bigggest gap? 3 feet?? Biggest drop? 4 feet Preferred ride(street, rocks, etc)? Rocks 70% Urban 30% What do you most want to be able to do on your bike? Sidehop to the “correct” side Helmet or not? 100% Helmet
  5. I love those frames in orange. Very nice spec on that bike.
  6. Middleburn Cranks Marino Frames (dirt cheap, good quality) CRV brake pads Wellgo B-27 pedals Chris Kind hubs (bzzzzz…their good) KMC 810 chaiin
  7. Color scheme on that bike is perfect. Some higher rise bars would be the only thing I would change.
  8. Awesome looking bike. I love the color and parts spec. You are right, it might be the nicest looking marino out there.
  9. Jamie, Looks like it works nicely. To many tip ties though.
  10. Weird geo for a 24, but it looks nice. I own 2 marino frames myself. Marino is a great guy to deal with.
  11. Yep…..we need a 04 Pure remake (same geo). V mounts, 135 spacing & maybe horizontal dropouts. They would sell like hot cakes. Stay away from the pogo stick geo.
  12. I love it when someone makes a high quality video. Great footage, great editing.
  13. Great pictures. I love those Monty’s in that color. Classic bikes.
  14. A friend uses one on the rear of his 24. Has been using it for a year and it has massive moto-cross type tread on it. He has one tiny hole in the sidewall but hasn’t really gotten any pinch flats with the tire. They do have a thinner sidewall but it still works good for trials.
  15. Yeah I was just thinking about those springs on cheap V-brakes. They might work nicely.
  16. Has anyone been in the shop working on tensioners? I still love the simplicity and idea behind this one. I want to build one but finding a spring like that is the hardest part.
  17. You must enjoy The Cure if you like slow and depressing. I know I do.
  18. A very fun video to watch. You have some very nice moves.
  19. Very classy pictures. Dual disc stocks aren't my favorite, but that one looks nice.
  20. That looks really good! A higher stem might be good.
  21. 100% agree. These companies need to quit messing around with non-functional seat tubes. Just remake the 2004 Echo Pure short and everyone will be happy.
  22. Never met Porter but he looks like a fun guy. Both of those bikes look amazing.
  23. Trialtechs are nice, but if you want an exact replica of the ZOO! Bar MOE is the answer.
  24. I have bought 2 frames from him. I bought one a year ago when he wasn't welding with a TIG. A very nice frame, but the welds were bigger and not as smooth. I rode this frame all year and never let me down. I just built up my new frame this weekend (the old one was still going strong). Everything is spot on with the new one. I specified the wrong CS length so I have to run 22-18 instead of 22-19 for the almost perfect chain length. The TIG welding looks a lot better and the frame is lighter which is really nice to see. Marino is a great person to deal with and does excellent work for an awesome price. I highly recommend his frames.
