  1. I am impressed with the level of riding. Your GF has skill. (you do too)
  2. A homemade Rohloff would be great to see.
  3. Looks great and I love the bars and expecially the booster. RB Designs for the win.
  4. I almost had a perfect chain length setup on my Marino with 382cs. I think I could run it without a tensioner but it would clank around to much for my liking. 74King type tensioners are awesome when you can get the almost perfect chain length.
  5. Your lever setup doesn't look to bad at the moment. I really like the older speed dials but the new ones are great too(I can't live without the speed dial feature). I agree.....stay away from the XT's and go XTR or Avid.
  6. Yeah it would be great if a company produced a V brake plate. Those BMX ones have pretty narrow spacing.
  7. I have a Marino frame with 382cs and 22-19 gearing. It is almost perfect with a new chain but I do run a 74 kings type tensioner(homemade) and it works great.
  8. I am a fan of V brakes. I use CRVs with a DX32 and a medium grind. I grind my rim like once a year... but it still has amazing hold a year later. Noise and bite go away with a worn grind. V's don't have that instant "pow" type of lock like a disc or a maggie but I love the way they work and feel. Ali C.....that was a great write up. Do you still have your pads for purchase? What is the best way to cut material to fit in a backing?
  9. Keep the drama as low as possible. Tell her to be honest and ask her how she feels. She is going to be the one who decides that she should let go of you. Give her space and some time.
  10. Pics of folded rim? What is taking its place?
  11. Nice work. It seems like it would be pretty hard to cut out that crown shape.
  12. Thanks for posting that new Marino frame. It looks great with the raw welds.
  13. Bike looks great and that is pretty cool it is Danny's old frame. That vid is great. I would put the Middleburn cranks on there ASAP. They are great cranks.
  14. Great Video Adam! If I stop and really look at how big the stuff you are riding I am amazed. You are really smooth too. How did you decide on getting a new set of rims? Did the squared out dx32 on the front die?
  15. I have one the dentist made for me. It works great and I wear it every night for the past 5 years. I tried a store bought one and it didn't last. I might try a different brand because mine is getting old. JT....keep wearing it because it will be nice to have teeth when you are older.
  16. Amazing pics! Japan looks wonderful.
  17. Ooooh a BT 5.0 Those are some classic frames. I wish BT would make them again. It is a shame you had to drill it everywhere. Tidy it up.
  18. Great Video!!!!! I love the tail whip at the end.
  19. Ashton Justice frames are one of my favorite frames. It is always nice to see them. I would go with 22-19 for gears and you will have perfect chain length.
  20. I know how you feel. My ex wants to stay in touch with me even though she knows it is super hard for me to talk to her. I keep on liking her and she is against us getting back together. Do some meditation and become calm in your mind and body. Then you can maybe concentrate a little better.
  21. www.marinobike.com A guy trustworthy frame builder from Peru. He is very helpful and friendly. $80 usd for a custom steel frame. I own one and it is great. They are heavier but the price is great.
  22. I go the wrong way and have spent a little time trying to learn the correct way(my timing is off). I clipped my pedal going the wrong way on my highest sidehop and that has scared me because it gave me a bloody elbow. I need to get practicing again.
  23. The way the legs bend comming off the steer tube is a little different. They look great but I like the way a Echo Urban looks. Thanks for comming out with innovative products.
