  1. Well I did some testing and the main problem was the loose BB. That is where the ticking came from. There might be a tiny tiny tiny tiny amount of play but it is probably from the old BB. It might just be in my head.
  2. No I haven't messed with them yet. I just like when people make homemade items.
  3. If I used a couple pieces of coke can on the BB splines, would that make the play even worse if I didn't use the pieces of can in the future?( Would it stretch out the splines even more?) My BB is over 2 years old. Could it become out of tolerance so the crank would have play on the splines?
  4. It is such a little movement it is hard to tell if the bash ring is doing it too. If the bash ring was loose would it make the cranks wiggle like in the diagram above? It fit onto the BB nicely, not sloppy, so it would seem kind of odd if it was loose on the BB.
  5. Well I just got a set of used Middleburn cranks. The drive side crank can move side to side a millimeter or so. It is not a huge about of movement at all but I would like to stop it if I could. Does this mean it is loose on the ISIS BB, or is the bash ring causing this? It also makes that ticking noise, and the crank went on to the BB nice and tight. Please Please Please help me out. This drawing has the crank pointing straight up in the air away from the ground. Would this tool work for tightening the lock ring?
  6. I want my sidehops to be higher....... :$ Thanks for making this video.
  7. Nice sidehops and those drops are nuts.
  8. I think it is one of the better looking high BB frames even thought I hate high BB frames.... . Thanks for posting the pic.
  9. I love pures.......I have one..... Post some updated picks when all the parts are on it please.
  10. A bit loud and flashy. Change the bar and stem and you might be ok.
  11. I am in Love...... :$ Bigman had one that was stripped and it looked so much like a Coust and I always thought it was a awesome bike.
  12. Yeah I never really like how small they are. I would rather see a bigger tube that you could put a seat post into. The rest of the bike I love, Leeson's look so classy.
  13. I think that is the best looking mod I have ever seen. Is the rear disc fully bedded in? What feels wrong about it? I have two friends that run dual disc with avids on their mods and they love them.
  14. I don't like the blue cranks so I would sandblast them silver.
  15. What gears are you using on your bike to get chain rap like that...... I am also curious what pads in the rear you are using now.
  16. Well I went and bought a masonry cutting disc and gridded my rim. WOW........., my previous grind was a year old and the groves were still deep but there wasn't much bite left and the hold was going too. Re-ground with this disc and it turned out very well. I highly recommend the masonry cutting disc.
  17. So you say the stone Cutting disc is the way to go. Aren't the cutting disc a lot thinner than the grinding discs? I was at the store looking at them and it seems like the cutting disc would shatter with any pressure because it is only like 2mm thick and the grinding is like 4 or 5mm thick.
  18. I love it. The rear disc mount look nice too.
  19. Yeah it would be nice to have something like 74 KINGS but my chain is eather to long or to short so I had to go with a derailleur type tensioner. I sidehop to the left so it has never given me problems.
  20. Yep, Just pull the spring more to get more tension.
  21. I have been running this tensioner sense January. I love it.
  22. Lets see a pic of one of your grinds.
  23. I agree...... I am just starting to watch your older ones.
  24. Can you please take a so we can see the whole bike from the side. Also, can you make the pics larger. I love the bike.
