  1. People who believe and argue that we didn't go to the moon genuinely angers me. You're almost as bad as creationists, ignoring logic and just choosing to come up with ridiculous accusations

  2. Conspiracy Road Trip on BBC3 is hilarious, basically someone who has discovered the internet attempts to tell someone who has a doctorate that they're wrong :D

  3. I can't be the only person who's suprised it took this long for Chris Moyles to leave Radio 1.

  4. Just remember to put the correct fuel in but other-wise this will be awesome Also, I believe i still have plenty of mini moto engine spares laying about in the shed if needed.
  5. A replaceable grind surface would increase weight and cost. Unless they cost like 50p each it would be cheaper and a lot less hassle to just grind a rim. Also a rim with a permanent 'grind' would eat pads like crazy. There has to be some give somewhere.
  6. Firstly, what disc brake are you running. You shouldn't have to have the brake dragging to get it to lock.
  7. Another vote for making an adaptor, and I talk form experience. The welding just completely ruins the heat treating in that area of the frame. The tab itself will probably just tear away from the frame, the exact same thing happened on the disc tab i had welded on my A2. I'd take the offer of having an adaptor drawn up for you, but that's my opinion. If you want to ruin a perfectly good frame then do continue.
  8. I skipped a minute or two of it and I'm pretty sure I didn't miss anything. I found it a bit of a let down to be honest.

    Gap Help

I also tried changing the angle I have my bike at when gapping today and it made a huge difference. So big thumbs up for that advice
  10. It may 'look tacky' but if you're still securing the height you want, does it really matter?
  11. It's mainly a location thing, Like which side of the car the steering wheel is on. In the UK we mainly have the rear brake lever on the left side but in other countries they run it on the right side. There is no pros and cons to it, just like there is no pros and cons to left/right foot forward. I do personally have the rear brake on the right side on my commuter bike though. This is because the levers and gear shifters are all in one, and because i wanted rear mech only (which is on the right shifter) and rear brake only i just kept it all together for less clutter.
  12. This sounds a lot like Sleep Paralysis
  13. I've been watching your vids for a while now and each one leaves me wanting more. Most videos I've seen recently i turn off after 2 minutes (or skip to the end hoping to see bails!), but I could definitely watch a long video of your riding. I especially liked the nose pivot to static hook Also, how is the frame holding up?
  14. Yeah the hub and brakes are definitely in need of upgrading. but i really liked the geo of the frame. I ride a long Adamant A1 now.
  15. Looks good dude. I miss my old one soo much
  16. I wouldn't be worried about the lack of power from disc brakes. A proper set up 180mm bb7 or hope would be more than adequate. The problem with rear disc on a stock is wheel flex. I'd stay stick with a rear maggie on the stock. On a mod though rear disc is excellent
  17. My bad. Just copy and paste the IMG code straight into the text box
  18. You want to copy the IMG code into the text box. It'll convert the code into imbedded pictures.
  19. Facebook privacy setings are stopping viewing. Upload them to photobucket or something similar.
  20. Not strictly true. I've known frames last years. Lighter frames are subject to a higher chance of cracking, but for a beginner there's no reason why it wont last a fair while. I've only ever ridden tanks so I got no worries about cracking my frame Some working pictures or links would be cool though.
  21. My Fresh Products lever put a hole in the piston when it froze My fault for not bleeding with an anti-freeze mix and letting the TPA off when I put it in the shed over night
  22. Is the lever piston bottoming out? When you bled the brake did you undo the TPA?
  23. If you want to save a bit of money, and a lot of time faffing about with a spoke tensioner, then just use your mech as a tensioner.
