Hi people, Havent posted on the site for a long time but ive been asked to pop somthing up. Alot of people here knew Nick Hobbs, as a riding buddy and more importantly as a friend, before a tragic accident last year cost him his life. His sister Steph Hobbs has asked me to post up here about somthing that is happening in a few weeks. There is a bench in memorial of Nick by Warsash Shores car park in Hampshire. Steph and her family will be planting a tree next to the bench also in memorial of Nick and for those of you that know a poem was posted up about Nick, andhis mum has chosen a few choice phrases from the poem and is having them put onto a plaque by the tree. The tree and plaque should be there by the first week in december. And Steph and her family ask that whoever knew nick or anyone who wants to show their sympathy for the loss of a fellow rider and friend to many, that they come along and see the tree and plaque once in place. I dont know the exact date the tree will be placed but if anyone wants to go and see it ive been told it will be up by the first week in december. I shall update with more news once i know myself. Thank you to everyone for the support and hope that you can make it down and see the tree and plaque up by his bench soon. RIP Hobbsie. Regards Sam .T

I'm retired from trials but only just heard about this last night. Can't believe someone else i used to ride with is gone. I remember riding with him back in the day. Such a sound and funny guy. Should be going to adam spendloves at some point to see how he's coping. Very sad for another great guy to be taken from us. RIP Hobbsie.

Right got a sky wirless router from sky when we signed up for wirless but we are only connecting it to the main computer through a cable, but i want to connect to the laptop through wirless but it dosnt have it built in so im guessing im going to have to buy a usb wirless adaptor for it. but which one do i buy? I have been told it has to be the same make as the router. The router is a netgear one. What do i need? Thanks for all your help Sam

Yeah that works a surprising amount. Was actually thinking about the same but its like 2 weeks til my 18th so meh. My mate got one and got a tattoo with it, now if he wants another tattoo he goes in and shows them his tattoo and they automaticly think hes 18. Hes got loads atm and hes not 18 till april Getting a post in before its closed!

Weve all tryed to be friends with him and invite him every place we go, and include him in everything. But he just thinks were taking the piss and tell us to go f**k ourselves or somthing. And this is the bit that gets on my nerves good and proper. If we were to say ANYTHING of the sort back to him, we get reported and get put on a disapinary! Hey people. Might as well tell the story now. I had a lesson in the morning before the test and one in the afternoon just before it. In the first lesson i was soo nervous and i drove like a pile of crap, but some how, i calmed down in the second lesson and was pretty calm for the test aswel. My examiner came out and as soon as he called my name i knew i drew the short straw. Apparently he's been nicknamed miserable dave, so you can imagin how things were gona go. Walked out to the car and didnt unlock it with the key fob, just put it in the door. got in and the alarm started goin off HAHA. I turned it off and was giggling but he was like a stone face killer, even tried talking to him and he ignored me!!! Went for a little drive and i was a little unsure of myself but ws ok. then we did the 2 manouvers, i was ok at them aswell. THEN as i was driving back to the test centre he asked me to pull in, i did. The he pointed to a light on the dash (airbag warning) and asked me what it was. Now i thought this was a test, but no. When he astablished it was the airbag warning light. he told me to turn off the engine because he has to TERMINATE the test because its unsafe to drive with that light on! So we had to walk back and my test score, because it wasnt a full test (only 30mins), was put to zero! He said this dosnt count as a fail, it just counts as if i havent taken a test yet! I felt like hitting him, even though hes done the right thing. And to rub it in even more, i asked on the walk back to the test centre how i was doing. And now he's given me a sheet with the amount of errors / minors i had. Now for 30mins of a 40min test. I had ZERO minors or faults.!!!!! Now i felt like hitting him. So now i have to rebook a test which i dont have to pay for, but its just the fact that if that light had stayed off for 5 / 10 mins more than i had aa great chance of passing! Now im just pissed off Sam
