  1. I can backhop till i cant be assed anymore but i prefer to roll looks smoother
  2. Hey mate, My profile mod hub did this a while back. When you are moving your wheel back center check if the sides of it a perfect flush with the side of your chainstay. Making the hub perfectly straight, Once it is adjust your pads to suit the new place of the wheel and tighten everything up to the max and your done. Hopefully that helped maybe a bit unclear add me to msn for more details and pics if your desperate. chisholm62@hotmail.co.uk Cheers Aidan
  3. Hey mate, Was a nice video fairly enjoyed watching it at 01:01 in the morining. I ride for trialfutur too and adam is an amazing guy who is doing alot for trials so but thumbs up for him. mite ride with you boys soon cya
  4. Hey All, Firstly the static pedalhop ( backhop ) : This becomes second nature to a trials rider it just take time and practise so don't give up before you've mastered it. Here are my 5 steps to success. 1. Start by finding which foot you are most comfortable with forward. 2. Get you're balance and learn how to control it. Now we can get started 3. With you foot forward, pull up sharply on the handlebars. 4. Let you brake off and give a small sharp kick down with the foot you have forward, then pull on your brake 5. Repeat again - if you can. Keep trying to do more and with more style. Secondly the moving pedalhop ( gaphop ) : This can be used to make a gap bigger than which you can backhop. Many people use this as a base to start taping and other moves but that comes later. Again my 5 steps to success. 1. Start with your foot forward and start to cycle. 2. Pull up sharply on the bars and do a full rotation of the pedal then pull your brake. Basically you have just done a simple wheelie. 3. Again start by cycling at a slow pace. Pull up sharply on the bars and begin to pedal. 4. As you start to pedal in you're wheelie try to give a sharp kick through the pedal stroke, shift your body weight uptowards your stem. 5. With the sharp kick finished and you moving forward the bike should lift into the air. Pull on you back brake before you land in order not to slip and roll out. Both these moves require a lot of practise and keep at it and get back to me see if i was any help to you. Hope i helped Aidan Chisholm.
  5. Hey, I think it was eather his tube poping and exploding but i also thought it was his bearing smashing into a million peices i am sure that would give of a loud bang as you do see them spraying out the side of his hub while he lands and the rim folding over. thanks Aidan C.
  6. hey man, AWESOME is all i can say really, That video was a pleasure to watch and i can't believe its you're first. The editing in that was done well with the ' slo-mo ' to the crazy colours at the hook. What editor do you use as i am stuck with movie maker but my brother is going to let me use his laptop to buy and instal some better software for video editing , so if you don't mind me asking what editor was that, which you use mate? You're riding is super smooth and flowing....how long have you been riding? I like the bike evan though i amn't a fan of montys you rode that one well enough to make me like it keep up the great work man Thanks -aidan
  7. Hey, You won't need to as if you take a look at you're stem you shall notice that the top cap sits at the angle but the bolt doesn't. Therefor this means you can run it without cutting your forks Thanks Aid
  8. Hey, Well there were some very nice pics mate. I am no photographer but i think some shots look good of people taking off or landing but mid-air shots don't really look quite so good. The pictures i most like there were the simply ones, like the drop off and the front wheel shots. That bikes looks awsome, what a quick spec of it? Thanks Aidan p.s maybe more pictures next time?
  9. Hey, I thought that was a superb video for a first. keep that up. Was much better then mine and although you mainly gaped it didn't seam to get boring as the music kept the hole video flowing. BUT i strongly sugest you was a helmet, you may not think it looks cool or whatever your reason is, but the time will come where you smash your head of a wall or your brake rolls and then you will wish you wore one in the first place. Yes people have already said this but you do hunch over the bars a bit. My suggestion is to get a lower stem and zoo bars Zoo stem if you can find one or the echo or try-all will sort that problem out pronto As for you're editing that was done well and the wheelchair bit has got to be tryed. OH and one main point next video choose a better camera man so its a steady shot as the shaking made the video seam less smooth. Sorry if i offended the camera man/women there. Thanks Aidan
  10. Hey , I always watch them on the link below just click on trials then videos and its at the bottom Hope i helped Thanks Aidan
  11. Hey, Yes we do , we can have good and bad days . They don't come out for hours or come out in 30 seconds ( < our personal record ) Its so annoying when they come out with ' meh meh you better move on now or we shall call the police and if you come back we will call the police ' We always come back though and they don't call the coppers. Its always the good riding spots were the guards come out which annoys me the most really. Well that my opinion and answer. Thanks Aidan.
  12. Hi, I think a nice pair of montys would be nice. heres a linky Monty crankys hope this was a help mate. thanks Aidan
  13. Hey, Well when you put you're wheel in it will move it but only very very sligtly. when i tighten mine i see my frame move but not that much. If it still doesn't work then you may need to get a longer bottom bracket. BUT if there is a spacer on the drive side take it off and screw it right in. May work. Also you could try putting an old bb axle spacer on . or modifying a normal washer to fit you're bottom bracket axle and this also might work. Hope that was a help. get back to me if it still isn't working. Thanks Aidan
