We have had ours upgraded here as well and we seem to get 6.5mb/s so not too bad. I had a very bad experiance with the Home Hub because i had the start of Chicken pox and installed the hub with the microfilter then extension so it never worked very well and then i swapped it so it was extension then microfilter and all was dandy. I also got the hub phone in the post later on this week and it is just as good as well. Has anyone actually seen any difference in speed or not?

Two very nice games are Americas Army (if you have a fast connection) and Wolfenstien Enemy Territory. Both run flawlessly on Vista and you can get them both from a Polish website which has an OK server: www.cda.pl they are on the left. EDIT As said above they require to be run in Compat mode but otherwise your fine.

Was just wondering did you get the wireless adapter or is there some sort of way to do it through plug and play ? Back on Topic; I have nothing plugged in ever on the Laptop other than a CF PCMIA adapter. I always have the psp dock, ipod charger (Homemade Ipod Dock ***!!1) and Printer.

Iv'e never had the experiance of that but I do remember we were in a travelodge down in Edinburgh and the shower head had been cracked and we told them about it and they never butted an eye and then on the second last day it burst off and the loss in pressure made it go extremely hot and still have a very little SCAR from that but still got a discount because of it! wooop Oh and those cafetierre-sp? things i was using and it popped open and hot coffee went all over me, smelt like coffee for days and the sting was there for a day or two.

Just a thought but maybe get a family member or friend to give you like 5 sweets (Werthers Toffees,ooooooooooooh theyr'e good) with you blindfolded and get them to mix it up (randomize the order) and then give you them seperately and maybe it might work. But remember don't chew them.

I have found the shareware version of WindowBlinds is great and theres loads of skins at www.wincustomize.com and also you can get the vista sidebar from www.desktopsidebar.com and then download the skin thats the same as your using .

Thats mine. I am really starting to get used to the Vista look, but have stayed with the speed of XP.

They don't do USB headunits of such they do an adapter for any Alpine Unit. The only bad thing is its quite a bit pricey £150. So really your just as good staying with CD's.

Well tomorrow im seeing my guidance for careers choice, and to tell you the truth I don't know at all what I want to do. I only jobs that I am considering at the moment are Photography, Aero Mechanic (Civvy), Forces. What jobs would you reccomend and what did you say to you careers advisor if you had one. The main thing I know is I would like to earn a decent pay.

Well I found one that gives 2gb of space for free and that will be enough for my pictures and I will just have to put the rest of my videos on my Ipod. The link's www.sendspace.com and it has quite a fast upload of 356kbs which will be fast enough for me.

Hey all Well im off to France on a School Ski Trip and we are allowed to take our PSP an I have some Still Game Episodes and other videos e.t.c But heres the problemo only have 2 512mb cards so I can only have about 3 Episodes and for a Week thats not enough, also dont tell me to watch TV it'l be French! So I was thinking a Web Host/ File Sharing site so I could download my vids from that, It needs to be able to store pictures, Videos MPEG-4, also MP3 would be good ,but with all this Pirating it doesnt really matter. It has to have fast download speeds, fast uploading so I can put my camera pictures up, I need about 5gb if theres a decent website. Also does anyone a good PSP converting software and don't say PSP Video 9 IMO its rubbish.

Well after being on the phone to a mate and realizing we had spent 30mins on the phone discussing cinema and town................I had a thought, Internet calling and then Skype was decided on, downloaded this and then started phoning, well every time I phone him or he phones me, we get about 3mins and it cuts out, I started looking for answers, and so far have only tried Windows Zero wireless or something along those lines, anyone else had this problem and fixed it? After reading Terrors post about his speakers I decided to get my 2.1 set from the loft, but the thing is they are distorted and just plane cr*p coming through my PC that is, if I connect it to my Ipod it's alot better. I have changed the settings in sound settings but this doesn't change anything, could I download some software to fix this?
