hi there i was wondering what the definition of trials riding is so i had a little look round on the internet but all the places i viewed seemed to be very different, i wanted to make a definition of trials which was simple and easy to remember. (none of this crap about it origionally came from spain etc that doesnt tall you anything about what trials is) but i couldnt think of anything to cover all the aspects. Probably a crap topic i know but i was wondering if anyone wanted to chip in to try to create a definition? this is what i got so far... Trials riding is a sport ( cant think of a different word other than sport ) in which the object is to use balance and technical skill to navigate up around or through a section of urban or natural terrain which could consist of anything from... and thats it so far, please feel free to add to it, take bits out, swap parts for your own parts etc. Clawz

hmm i just use water, works ok for me. just my advice is be careful with certain hydralic fluid as im sure most types strip paint, magura blood doesnt obviously, neither does water lol forgive me if i sound dumb i didnt pay much attention in science at school whats deionised water? and where can i get some and how much. forgive me if someones already said what where and how much i only scaned the topic Clawz

who is your favorite trial bike manufacturer ? ? ? who is your least favorite trial bike manufacturer ? ? ? for me my favorite has to be adamant purely because their new frames look so cool ! ! ! least favorite is definitely saracen as i have cracked two of their frames. Clawz

cool idea for a game...how about a fun map or bonus map or whatever...i dont know how your doing it. but you could have a map of a ummmm almost nude woman lieing down in a pose or something and you have to ride over her lol. by the way i got that from the moto trials game in the bonus packs. but 3d would be Good luck Clawz

they come with gears so surely thats not out problem...saracen is to blame for making some pretty SHIT frame designs, although i do appreciate the free frames etc.

im sorry i have to disagree, ryan leech is the best, if you have seen his dvd manifesto then you will know that he has got the flow in trials mastered. no set up hops. no recovery hops. just one smooth unfaultering line. Clawz

oh my god YOU WILL NOT BELIVE THIS : : : firstly way back in march i got a saracen team issue and that happened to mine about 3 months after, but i also snapped the frame. they sent me A BRAND NEW 2.SIX H AND FORKS FREE. : : : about three months later the 2.sixH frame STARTED CRACKING so i got onto them and they have now sent me a team urban frame and forks, the new 2006 frame. : : : 3rd time lucky hey??? by the way i got all this stuff for free and i still have the old stuff AND they didnt even want to see proof of it, how weird is that??? i also got a stem with each of the new frames and a new headset with them too. lololol and a mech hanger. but my rear wheel on my saracen is f**ked up big time it clicks f**king load and the cassette wobbles seperately from the wheel i think the freehub body has snapped, again might i add!!!!!!! and i have also screwed one of the rear shimano hone hubs that came with the team issue which shimano ALSO REPLACED FOR FREE. lol so tell them to stick that fee up their ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Clawz114@aol.com if you want to talk lol to answer the questions the frames come with the bb and cranks attached and i think the problem is the front cog is too near the frame...i shit myself riding my team urban, not becuase the rear wheel wobbles 3-4 inches side to side but that i have snapped 2 of their frames. and yes it does happen gradually but you dont notice it until you look underneath and notice a rather large CRACK STARING AT YOU tell saracen to give you a new frame or refund otherwise you will take it further il back you up if you make a complaint that they are absolutely shit lol

if you you get the option pick the size in the middle to play it safe but otherwise its up to you, long bikes are better on the back wheel, but short are slighly easier to lift, more flickable if thats a word. lol i prefer long. Clawz

try-all rims look pretty cool, my mate has one and he did a 7.5ft drop and its fine Clawz

can anyone reccomend the best pads for smooth ungrinded rims, with no tar used. (i will get a grind when i get new rims but thats not anytime soon i dont think) clawz

go for orange rim with black rimtape. tartybikes.com do tryall rims but they dont do orange...the new echo rims are orange or gold i think they are on tartybikes too. Clawz

i have to ride with bmxers, i only have 1 trial buddy but he is at uni a lot of the time so im stuck with a load of bmxers, kind of gets boring just sitting at skateparks all day when you dont want to be a loner riding trials, especially when youve ridden every single inch of trials in the entire skatepark area, gets a bit depressing and it would help if my bike actually would stop f**king up on me as my rear wheel makes nasty sounds . snapped my front maggy ever too. IN DESPERATE NEED OF A DECENT BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Clawz

well, my favortie trick is a crankflip pedalhop. get into a pedal hop balance on the rear wheel, take your rear foot off the pedal and stand on your back wheel (still in the pedalhopping position) and spin your cranks with your other foot, then when they come back round jump back onto the pedals and either carry on hopping or drop off something. i just like it becuase it looks so hard but it isnt once you can do it. oh i also like 180 endos to a 90 fakie then kick it round the rest of the 90 to do a full 360 lol Clawz

2 saracen frames and 2 axles HEY PISSIN ON THE FENCE, GET IN TOUCH WITH SARACEN THEY HAVE SENT ME 2 NEW FRAMES AND FORKS FREE ON MY 3RD NOW !!!!!!!!!

DONT DONT DONT get a saracen trials, i made the mistake of getting one and i have SNAPPED 2 OF THEIR FRAMES!!!!!!!!! the first (team issue) went in 3 months, they sent me the 2.six H frame and forks free, 3 months later SNAP, they sent me the team urban frame and forks free and thats where i am now! lol and i still have the old frames. i do think they are good to give me free frames without even wanting to see pictures of the snapped frame, but they are pretty weak. hopefully 3rd time lucky yntil i get enough money to get a new frame Clawz
