  1. yeah it does sound like your hub is skipping tell your bike shop that is what you think is wrong and they should be able to sort it if not buy a new hub or freewheel and if its not any of this try going single speed nick
  2. my mate has the same problem with his zoo hub which is pretty much the same as the echo and the snail cams that come with are rubbish. he is going to buy a new pair of snail cams and see if the promblem is any better i will post again if it has been sorted nick
  3. hey guys thanks for all of the replys. at the moment i am riding a gu typhoon and i was looking for a steel street bike. something like a leeson or curtis style. it would be nice to be able to ride some natural trials on it aswell cheers nick
  4. Anyone here got street bikes? i really want to get a leeson or something like that but im not where to get them from or how much they are, also what do u reckon for a street bike 26\" or 24\" wheels cheers nick
  5. cheers for the information and im going to give hope a ring sometime and see if they will sort it our for me if not see whats wrong with the bloody thing cheers nick
  6. i have had my mono mini for a while and the bore cap came loose one day and pretty much all of the oil pissed out of it, i tightened it and rebled it but it still leak's i have a feeling it is most probably the seal behind the bore cap but im not sure. has anyone else had this problem. cheers nick
  7. Yeah its rides amazing, on the back wheel i dont think you could get any better, you dont get much flex on the rear brake. i run a front freewheel on it and it works really nicely. I cant really think of any down points apart from when you run single speed the chain is quite close to the chain stay cheers nick
  8. yeah i like those tyres and when i get the front pink rim it will look better, cheers for your opinions anyway nick
  9. cheers for the comments, nick
  10. i was just looking at the 26\" mod frames on tarty and do the horizontal drop outs mess with the geometry or not? cheers nick
  11. why dont you check it out on tarty then, the new lever looks really mint Description - NEW updated Mono Trial brake from Hope! - Completely revised lever is now stiffer than before, and has a more rounded lever blade which is much more finger-friendly! - New colour scheme for 2007 too, now with silver lever and caliper body, with black lever blade, top cap and bore caps. - New rotors also have more arms and a deeper braking surface for increased stifness and braking power. - Upgraded\' hydraulic piston ratios gives 54% more mechanical advantage and thus far more power than any standard disc brake featuring a similar sized rotor. - 180mm rotor offers even more power than the standard 160mm rotor version, and therefore recommended for stock (26\" wheel) bikes. - Large venting holes helps keep the rotor cool and prevent the pads from glazing over and causing a reduction in brake power/performance. - Fitted as standard with stainless steel braided hosing to help prevent hoses becoming kinked or pulled out of the lever/caliper whilst riding/crashing! - International Standard (IS) caliper and 6-bolt rotor means the system is compatible with most disc hubs and frames/forks on the market (if you are unsure, please contact us for advice). - Right hand lever supplied as standard, but can be fitted with a left hand lever. Please enquire for details. - Weight 444g including full length hose and, all mounting hardware. cheers nick
  12. i first wanted to start trials when i was about 15 when i saw a load of blokes hoping around in the quarrie i didnt no what trials was then so i was like wow!! then when i was 16 my mate bought a trials bike and when i saw it i was like wow i rememebr what those bloke were doing so i then bought one and i havnt gone back cheers random poeple in quarrie who got me into trials nick
  13. It rides really nice when your on the back wheel, gaps really easy and taps are good to do to, the only thing is it\'s abit of a bugger when you try to bunny hop on it because of the long stem. once i get the pink frontwheel i will put up new pictures. cheers for the replys its nice to no people like the look of my bike cheers nick
  14. I think monty break spray is a good idea in the winter, In the summer all of the dust and mud which is lowing around does get stuck to it. if your buying it for a mate it seem like a nice gesture and a fiver isnt exactly a fortune to spend, i wouldnt buy it myself but its up to you really. nick
  15. add me, www.myspace.com/trialsbum theres a few pic on there of my riding nick
