No judging the brakes from reputation as the echo tr and sl rim brakes are a joke so cant see them pulling of discs that work half aswel as a hope brake.

As said definately chain first, then get some tryall tyres or maxxis, havent heard any reviews on them discs yet but cant see them being very good to be honest so worth considering going the maggy route or dual hopes...

After all the rave reviews on here i thought i would give the heatsink yellows a try the ones in plastic backings, absoloutely awful hold on the rear, sounds ok decent bite but the hold is woeful and i am dissapointed i wasted £36 on two pairs. Rear rim is a new trialtech sl with a harsh grind, pads are set up perfect?? The best pads on the market are the koxx yellows by a fair margin, need tarty to re stock quicky..

Where is it exactly leaking from? I am on my second set and the easiest way is too shorten the hose then use the olive and sleeve nut in the slave, makesure when you are connecting this to push the hose right into the slave with the olive a couple of mm back on the hose then tighten the sleeve nut into the slave (if you dont the sleeve nut can push the olive off the end and your hose will just pull out the slave cyclinder :$ ) then the easiest way is to bath bleed,, put everything in the water take the screw out the slave, disconnect the hose from the lever and suck through the barbed fitting, do this a few times after each time cover the end with your finger to prevent any air getting in,,, pull and release the lever till you see no bubbles coming out and connect the hose back onto lever underwater, screw back in slave underwater, bish bash bosh perfect hs11s.

Looks a lot better with the black forks Monty looks quality too I had the 26 version many moons ago and I had two of the x hydra 20s that came after that one, amazing for their time.
