  1. Yes but everyone is not as pro as you, were trying to give the lad help and you chime in with that.
  2. Am not sure just got a good deal on the complete wheel and wanted the hub, i will be building a lighter rim on it with proper laced spokes in the near future.
  3. Just sorted this out as the Rockman frame didn't work out very well for me. Same spec obviously radically different geo though. Anyway :
  4. I think if you start practicing sidehops to your other side you will eventually be able to go a lot higher but it will feel weird at first.. Nothing wrong with your technique I do find it easier if your pedals are more horizontal when taking off but look at beleays tech he has his cranks near enough vertical.
  5. I did hear that the tennies had the stickiest soles am not sure how true that is though. The freerunners are incredibly grippy anyway your feet are virtually locked so i cant see there being much of a difference.
  6. Yep like i said i have just got them in black from chainreaction..
  7. Guess you havent read this thread??
  8. yes matt there the guide tennie I think there called ive heard good things about them too I just like the look of the freerunners more can't go wrong with either..
  9. Just got the new black freerunners they are in a different league as far as grip and comfort goes to trials specific shoes and they look a lot lot better. Win/win. Dont worry they are a lot thicker than you think best shoes for the money you wont be dissapointed.
  10. Thats lovely never seen them forks before where did you get them? Whats the rear tyre like aswell??
  11. Dont bother mate get a pair of fivetens from chainreaction
  12. "we uncover some very special secrets files from the trailbike sensation's laptop."
  13. Tnns are the best and easiest to use, with them you dont need the plastic washers you are using now the clamps just clamp the cylinder. I have to order some as my echo sl ones have just snapped they are awful and they are £40, the tnns are £22.
  14. Cant go wrong with the new pure as you said mate , clean, simple with a decent geo and affordable too
  15. Where is the booster positioned on the brake?? Edit ahh just seen the close up you have it between the clamps.. I need to do the same with a tryall booster but i have echo clamps with the metal shim on my echo brake and i don't think it will hold the cylinder very well. You had any problem with yours moving about? Might have to invest in some of them tnn clamps. 2nd edit realised thats how the tnns are meant to be run hmm.
  16. This looks a bit good, gilles side of that skinny wall up to the other is just fu**ing silly.
  17. Yes my son quality riding kid! Nice little edit there too jamie
  18. Just to add I have recently bought a loaddd of parts of pete aka hayerstoby last week?? parts came to just under £500. Everything was sound apart from the pads a bit mishaped, one snail cam instead of two and 170 cranks when he said they were 175,s. But everything else was spot on. without knowing petes history ( which I should ive been around here a long long time) if I had seen this thread before I had bought the stuff I probably wouldnt of went through with it, theres no excuse for scamming someone and plus you even denied it was you when clearly it was (or you wouldnt be reimbursing him). Having said that I believe everyone should get a second chance and it sounds like petes in a bit of a rough patch so lets see if he can keep his promises with matt.
  19. Damn i need one of these How much do these set you back these days then?
  20. Love it mate good choice with the rain king aswell, rubber queen shouldnt even be compared to it. How long have you had the frame?
