Good to hear no one has snapped a pair yet that was my main concern, just for reference when will the viz bars be back in stock before I order the tryalls?

So will be ordering a few parts from tarty this week or next and I need some bars after just selling my rockbars. What do people think of the tryalls? Are they worth the extra money? Has anyone snapped a set of these yet? Was looking at the viz bars but they seem to be out of stock in black which I want and the only other bars I like the look of is the tryalls.. Opinions please.

Spot on, me and ian cooper tried something similar to these a good few years ago and they lasted about five minutes.. On the other hand though the forks D butler is using and what the cousts used to run seem to be good forks not sure of the weight though and they are quite expensive aswell.

He won't have to pay no import tax if the seller says the value is less than a certain amount or if it's posted as a gift? I have done this a few times myself. That site looks too cheap to be true but seen as your stuff has arrived I am going to order some parts...

Basically swapped the frame now for a 26" again just because i was having so much hassle messing/drilling the frame to tension the wheel..! Word of advice for anyone who is thinking about buying one of these get vertical dropouts!! or get him to place a bolt in the frame so you can use snail cams thats what the lad i have given the frame to is trying now.... ( oh chain tugs might work if you can find them small enough for the dropouts... i couldn't... )

Haha I know mate I don't trust them i have snapped quite a few of them but I need a half link to get the right chain length,, I bought a kmc but I can't get it the right length....! What half links are trustworthy? I suppose none because the design is flawed with the shape of the links so where does that leave me, what chain could I get?

Update on the frame that tensioner idea is absoloutely awful and does not work one bit... after re-welding the lugs back on they just split in two when i put a bolt through them, they are also the hardest and most fiddly thing in the world to actually get a bolt through.. So now i have a temporary thing in place were i have drilled through the frame on the outside of the dropouts tapped it and put a nut and bolt through, its rough as f*ck but i need to ride tomorrow.. What are my other options for tensioning the chain.. What are these chain tugs and any linkys to ideas to keep the wheel in place?.........

So after a long time of being bored on 26" i decided i wanted something more fun to ride, something that could do all the tgs stuff but be really good at natural and bunnyhopping which i haven't been able to do in a while due to having a stupidly long bike and high bb.. Had a couple of problems one being i snapped a bolt in the frame putting the maggys on ( my fault for not checking the length ) so had to drill and re-tap to a 6mm.. Also just after i had taken these pics on me phone the small bit of metal thats meant to tension the wheel with a bolt through just snapped off the frame because they looked to be only tacked on instead of welded all the way around.. Good thing its made of steel i can take it into work and re-weld both sides.. How olds that kid? One of the best styles i have ever seen...

Been thinking about the same thing recently and have been scratching my head around why i am not improving / having the confidence etc i used to have on a bike, i think i have finally put my finger on what it is and its the trend! Basically i have been riding off and on for about 8 years now maybe more and for the last year or two my riding has been gradually getting worse and i could not put my finger on it was it lack of motivation? places i was riding? work? I never stopped to think that it could be the frame because i was "following" this high bb long wheelbase trend and if it was working for the pros why wouldn't it work for me?.. It all made sense last week when i had a full days riding on a mates old echo think it was a pure, we measured the wheelbase at 1100 with viz forks and the bb was +15 and i knew as soon as i got on it it just felt right, balanced... By then end of the day i was tapping higher than i could on my +60 czar and it was just a different kettle fish on the rocks just hopped and balanced sooo well i was amazed by it...Needless to say when i am buying my next 26" frame it will be a lower bb i think +25/30 is perfect for a 26" frame. I am now just testing a 24" marino tgs frame which is 1085 ( long i know ) but is a kind of experiment just to see what it rides like with a +45 bb aswel.. Its a little bit heavy for tgs but if the geo works i will find a way to make one out of ally then and go from there..will keep you posted.. (sorry for the life story but thought i would share it)..

Well anyone who is thinking about buying one i can highly recommend him,,, I received my two marinos yesterday ( arrived in one week ) really happy with the quality for the price, very fast shipping and an just generally a nice guy to deal with i even got a little peruvian souvenir! Will post pictures up soon of my tgs 24" and i might put up for sale the other frame that has inspired geo if anyone is interested its in chocolate brown with green graphics...?

Now thats a nice bike, can't wait for my tgs marino to get here should be with me by next week... Anyone rode a 24" with a long wheelbase??

So have you snapped one of these frames or is it someone you know that has if not stop talking sh** on a brand you know nothing about, just because some frames maybe cheaper than others doesn't mean there of less quality it's more a case of some other brands are well overpriced but that's just business for you..
