  1. you are riding a kona stem now, what length is your stem, and what degree of rise does it have. what onza stem are you talking about here as there are many many different lengths and rise ones. Dan
  2. i can actully wheel swop so i thorght i would tell you how i do it. 1. find a wall approx 20" good size to start on. 2. roll up to the wall and pop a small wheely (sp) so that your front wheel is now on the wall. 3. pull and hold front brake, if you are left footed make sure your left foot is forward. 4. hop the back wheel around to the right so that you are quite close to the wall but no that close that you are going to hit it. 5. bend your arms to roughtly about 100 degrees and lean as much as you can over the front wheel. 6. make sure you are still only holding the front brake, use the flex of your forks to get the hop. 7. on the magic count of 1,2,3 preload as in point 5. but also bend you knees. 8. in one swift motion jump as high as you can and use your arms to throw the bike in an up woods motion (sp). 9. whilst in the air make sure you pull your rear brake so wheel you land on the wall you dont flip your bike. 10. land on the wall, then hop of the wall and roll away. remember practice makes perfect, this will not come to you over night it takes a while to put it all together so get out there and practice it, and if you need any more held just shout. Dan
  3. my zip spent a few Bob on it if you want a spec just ask!! rides sooo nice and have had many good coments about my rear brake i.e tall rob, steve-o,ad101, andy chai and matt staples. http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/974474/ http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/974475/
  4. if you are running an isis bottom bracket, these cranks are quite strong and look good to as they are avaliable in many different colours. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=183 if you are running a square taper bottom bracket these will do you as they are stong as well but isis is the way to go if you have the extra money for a bottom bracket http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=156 if you want an isis bottom bracket and isis cranks for £100 this set up should do you. bottom bracket - http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=2027 isis 170mm cranks - http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=156 dan
  5. no body really cares. PLEASE PLEASE stop posting so many pointless topics its very very anoying and it will not get you validated and quicker, or at all, post a topic that is use full and people what to read and want to actully know about then you may get some decent replies. dan
  6. yes they do improve your braking as they make it so you get equal brake pad distrobution (pads move at the same time hitting the rim at the same time) they are a lot of hassel to fit as they are an odd shape and the nipples are really big compaired to the size of the inner bit of the hose, i ve had mine for about 3 months now and it is still going strong. although they improve braking the improvement isnt that noticable. if all you want to do is improve your brakes get a good solid booster, some good pads and a nice grind with a wee bit of tar. Dan
  7. in his profile it says he has ddg hubs so im guessing he has a ddg REAR (not rare lol) hub, yes best off taking it to you locla bikeshop and get it looked at properly. dan
  8. supercycles dont sell the crossovers any more they only sell the lever to slave piece not the cross over bit he is after. dan
  9. for that price you can go wrong and with a maggie as well, bit of a double bubble. dan
  10. not to sure what a rare hub is please enlighten me Dan
  11. yes they are very good ive had mine since febuary and i give mine a fair bit of abuse and my zip just keeps taking it over and over agin with no signs of weekness, for the price they are there fab but the only downer about it is the graphics a bit bland but who cares it rides immense. dan
  12. yes they are very good frames but it all depends on wether or not ur friend has abused the frame or not wether or not it is cracked or dented but over all there are very strong frames. Dan
