All I really know is that the GU will be a lot more stronger than the Kot. The chain stays on the Kot are weak which is a shame because they are nice bikes. I reckon it would be a good move.

Make sure you use grease in it as well. It should go in nice and easy, if it is really stiff don't force it in (giggity) because your then probably cross threading it.
