don't help that its a black frame but i can send you a few clips or a youtube link and show you how i ride belive my im no cls or anything lol the other day i done a bar side hop and that bit WOW for me i have in no way raped the shit out of this frame not because im scared just because i can't and im rather poo. can do as the reason i open the topic was to show people that i have bent it witch is unusal as people do when they snap or crack or do somthing weird to there bikes/frame how ever its now turn into a slag off danko/viz/trialsuk/kobikes and thats not what i intended as it is a lovely frame well designed out lived many other friends frames iv learnt loads on it i have many good ride and i really do love it and i plan to get anougher kobike as they are superb this topic was to show the frame not to bitch so this topic can be closed as its gone the wrong way i dont mean for anyone to be put off and yea the top tube is still dead central its just the down tube thats bent weird isent it Cheers Jack

no dents or real marks on the side of the frame to say that i could have done it also the hole tube is bent and its perfectly even i would have had to hit all of the tube at the same time evenly and with out denting it as well as that id have to disturb the welding so seems pretty unlikly that i have done it theres one dent on the down tube and thats pretty much central not enough to bend the frame at all and espcialy not enough to bend the hole tube. cheers Jack p.s everythings been sorted now

i have done the oposite the backings on the rims jams snap caliper pistons how ever i loved the grip it had so i now have rim jam matirial in plastic backings and didnt bother with the metal backing as i had cracked bits off and it didnt sit in the caliper properly. If you are not geting on with the matirial id sugest new pads but these backings will die eventully so i personaly wouldnt bother how ever heatsink backings seem to be working really well so if your going to put compound in anything put it in there or plastic but rim jam matirial is really awsome gives off a really nice bite. hope this helps Jack

dan has been more than understanding and has been willing to listen to the problem that i have faced and is doing his bit and is giving good customer servise i didnt make this topic to "bitch" about the frame or trials uk in anyway it was purely because iv never come across a bent frame befor and this intrested me and so i posted pictures i would just like to clarife that and i would also like so say they are superb frames to ride it was unfortunate that this happend. sorry if anyone miss took it as it seems that way by some of your posts hope this clears things up Jack

people seem to be saying two differnt things im not really willing to spend £135 on somthing that should be fine at the momment any way but if i can get that much money togeather id rather spend it on somthing differnt how ever if dan dose offer to replace the frame ill happy keep on riding ko frames as they are lush im not trying to moan about anything and i hope im not giving anyone that impression cheers Jack

I don't wana put anyone off them as thats not my aim but it is down to your personal choice they are nice frames just didnt think this was right but yes that was exacly my thoughts both dan ko and cls are amazing riders and i have nothing on them yet both of the frames are fine yet im pretty poor at riding so surely it shouldnt have bent??? cheers for comments

if im honnest id rather a new frame as i dont have the money to spend on a new frame and the company will still be making its money from the second frame im buying even if it is half price i was talking to gazza the owner of triton he was saying how titnium is very expensive and he gets around 20% profit each frame some times not even that how ever ally is very cheap so he could make 200 to 300% profit even if i was to have my frame replaced he would still be in profit and he would keep reputation as being a good company thats his veiw anyway, idear of this topic was not to have a dig at mr ko or to slag off the frame its self as it is well thought out and did ride really nice previously but it was purely because i wasent sure if this was my fult or if i should be expecting it to be replaced i have been offerd a half price cash replacement but i cant take that up due to lack of money so im a little stuck some seem to think it should be replaced with a new one or is it somthing i have done wrong. Alot of riders on here will tell you im not great at best i tap and side hop bar height witch i didnt think was enough to do serious dammage im not the harshest of riders so dose this mean it was a manufacure fult or am i just litterly being fat? cheers for the comments Jack

well i have had the ko comming up to a year now not quite but almost anyway i was fixing a puncher with my friend the otherday and had it upside down and my friend pointed out its acctully bent the down tube acctully curves to the right looking down on it. I spoke to mr Ko and he said its not coverd by warenty as the bikes still ride able theres nothing wrong with it. Im not sure as to if it will make a diffence and be fine as it normally would or if its likely to cave on me at any point im not sure it seems to be geting slighty worse but must i have done somthing unordanry to do this to a frame or should it not be doing this? happend to anyone else? heres a few pic's dont touch the middle this side but touches the edges touches middle but not the side on the same place on the frame just the other side and a birds eye veiw it's got a little worse scince the pictures have been taken and you can see it more clearly in real life but thats as best as i could do any advise, comments, fatty remarks??? cheers Jack

friends bb7 on the rear really sucked it didnt hold at all unless he applyed water so id recomend getin a new rotor as the new one's with the same rotors as the bb5 don't hold well at all on the rear how ever his front was mint im just basing it on his troubles i cant go by that for every bb7 as it could have been just a one off how ever it was brand new and set up correctly.
