no probs bud. to be honest i think it would be better doing it that way, as you wont get carried away and go overboard with mods as you wont want to take the car off of the road.... so would probably be best to do it that way
  2. was that pistonhead link anyuse to you bud?

andy, they are a great first car. chea p to insure great to drive and bvery nippy and easily modifiec. Rust is amega problem but it will be with many first cars as they are more than likely to be old. golfs, polos, minis many vans ect are ridden with rust, but on the newer cars it is more hidden. It will be a lot more exspensive to replace pannels ect on other cars than minis. For example to replace a single mini floor pan will cost you around £12.00 you can then either take it to a welder and get it done for pretty cheap dependant of where you go or buy a welder and do it yourself and save yourself some money in the long run. They are a pain in the arse with rust because you will constantly find more.... but its very cheap to sort compareed to other first cars about thats what i did with my first car. but got varried away with a VVC k-series conversion

what you say about the patients still being there, thats what rea;y gets me and just thinking of what used to happen there really facinates me. i would love to get into one and have a mooch about just to see what its like. Its crazy but it just grabs me and really intrests me some how? i remeber reading a report on 28DL about a network of underground tunnels which went for miles, and there was a photo of a crushed up Clubman GT1275 in a bronzey/ orange color. Was very facinating!

I am not sure if it was underground but i remeber being really gob smacked at it, it seems to sureal (sp?). There are tons of empty places around my way, there are about 4 empty intreting looking places down the same road out way. call me twisted but i would really like to get into a old asylum or some thing similar. what was the kinda stories he told bud? sounds really intresting? I dont have a clue about it but i really do find it very intresting in a very strange way...

I dont know if any of you have been on www.28dayslater.co.uk There was some one on there who found like a underground Morg with padded cells electic chairs and discetion tables..... I dont know why but this sort of thing really does get me and i just have to keep looking and reading. some of the photos are effing ace aswell. there are a few places i have found but i am to shicken shit to go there on my own so i am waiting for some one to come with me. there is a HUGE old run down some thing in layborne, by the big quarry full of water... and it is massive and it looks very dead inside. absoloutely huge. BUt yeh i think its cool! Last place we found was a huge warehouse with 5 HUGE 80ft odd motorised metal doors that went up when you pressed a button and they had stashes of bleatch everywhere. was great!

    Smoking?

Ditto that mate. I could never have a relationship with a smoker
  14. na i dont get on with that myspace stuff, i have msn but am not on there offten. where abouts are you from out of intrest mate? This shop wasnt really a oh your highstreet shiop, its in the back iof a tattoists. You have to walk through and out the back (dodgey or what hey). they are VERY well priced considering. They are 10-25p a tip. I dont write on walls or anything but i have a small amount on the walls of my garage inside and they are really strange to use but great fun. I want to write a big mural on the back of my garage door as a load of little scallys have scrawn all over the back of the garages yup my way, not mentioning any names alan so i want to do a big peice up there. Not necicarily graffiti, maybe just a cool image, i quite like the idea of a big eye...

    Smoking?

no so does that mean that i can tell people its bad for them and actually not be in the wrong? Wuhu!!! My Nan died of breats, lung, brain, skin and a fair few other cancers which i cant remeber. It was the kinda cancer which you got from smoking... but she never smoked, it was just the luck of the draw... I never got to know my nan to well and she was figting it for 13 years and dies at 56 with 4 children 2 grandchildren (at the time more now) and a husband and she never got chance to see them grow up. Both my best friends parents died from cancer and they were very young when it happened, both leaving behind families. I am not making out that i want some pitty or nowt as i am sure it has happened to a lot of people on here aswell but You people which smoke, i know the chances are slim but it is still a possibility and we all go through live thinking its never going to be me... but the chances are... it will be. So just step back and think lads and lasses is it worth all of that for a little white teeth bad breath, skabby teeth and a bad smell? I remeber saying this to a lass once and she said "Yeh well i could walk to collage tommorow and get run down by a bus, so i am going to do what i want when i want and how i want to" this is NOT the attitude to have. 75% of englands population will say its dirty and discusting, even the people who do smoke...
  16. when i was trying to do a peice of work for collage i really looked into how these artists used cars how they filled outlined ect and 90% of the stuff out there is all done with can, But they all start with the colour first and then outline the lot as they found that this was the quickest way to work and they made les mistakes this was because if they did it could easily be rectified or worked with in the peice. I also couldnt findure out for shizz how they got these perfect dead straight lines.... I dont know if any of you have looked at it that close buk the seperation betweek two colours can be dead straight with a very clear and defining like and i thought to myself they muct mark this off or some thing but its all in the nozzels they use and the way they build up the colour. there is a shop in cantabery that sells just nozzles for cans and they have so many choices they have hundreds! fine lines, diffrent arrays of fades, spurges of diffrent sizes shaped, stars, circles, squares bloody hundreds it was unbeliveable. they also did like 2 litre sized cans, it was crazy. just thought you might like to know that as i always did. I must say Banksy is a stnciler 90% of the time, i dont know bout you but i have always classed graffiti as these huge murals which people draw, does anybody else? I think stenciling is a totaly diffrent genre of graffiti as is graffiti and tagging/scrawl? EDIT Yeh what Haz said!
  17. Another top artist is Vizie, works with a lass named Jade, from the states in a place called Halifax.

    Smoking?

Non man! Dirty big hole that takes your money gives you bad breath manky teeth and all of the bad shit like that. never toutched a stick and never will. But i am not forcing my view on others, if they want to smoke its up to them!
  19. I have been graffiting for about 2 years, under the name sc**... Scud scummy scum scrubbed scrum ect. I think i may move on to the name Hyatari which is slang for Peyote, or Whos Who BUt i dont do it on walls ect, i do it on paper and i have completed most of my GCSE work with graffiti. I have loads of bits hich i could show you but i cant really be asked to upload it on here, but i suppose i will if you give me a minute. If graffiti art is your thing i did a bit og GCSE work on a lad called Aaron Bird, he sells his graffiti and ears around 125,000.00 a peice and is making a lot of money from it. Banksy is also another big artist he did a momorial in SE london to a boy who got shot down on valentines day, he also is very famous for having the queens gaurd pissing up a phone box ect A few good ones i have seen are stencil artists. a few of my favorites was a rat with the print reading " I have won" ther other was a big buggs bunny on the side of a council flat estae, was absoloutely husge, took up about 5/6 floors, very amazing. France is great for graffiti, but most of them get caught half way through, La'tukay (sp?) Is a great example! anyhow gimme a sec SCRUM ST Unfinished SPEED I think they are all in the right order anyway. I have a load more but i think they are on my other PC, i have a unfunushed bit i did about 2 years ao which is what started me off. i will try and find it
  20. yep mate just the way it should be to, owned 6 cars and i dont even have a licence yet, suppose its what i do to keep myself amussed... I was asking you bunch of randomers on this forum for advice because i know that a fair few of you on here know your cars very well and have owned these cars and asking for opinions on them and also exsperiances. I think i have gone for a MK3 polo Coupe, going to go and have a look at it soon and might take it. looks alreet like

  23. Yes i agree but they are 20 years old at the youngest arent they? and trying to find one thats in good nick and not been abused or completely shagged is also like finding a needle in a hay stack! Not to say inssurance issues would be sky himg! I was quoted £1700 on my old mini if i was to get it turbo'd
  24. sorry NTM I diteste the square backs Mk3 Coupe i think it will be for me if i go down the polo route! thats the problem Steve... all ok the mk2 golfs have been ragged or meesed about with, and i dont want another complete rebuild! could anyone advise me as to where i can et a half decent MKII golf please/ engine size is not an issue. i would preffer the golf but i think a polo would be less hastle
  25. Ha ha was waiting for that one nick! I still have a shell, does that count? I just dont fancy cutting out 1/4th of the car to replace it again. And thanks Si! I would be fumin if somebody was to be near me uninsured and licencless, so therefore wont do it, makes scence! Think i have decied on a MK3 polo.
