this isnt me getting smart or smug because i am not 100% sure but what i THOUGHT was... The only was that water can damage/corrode your seals is if there is air in the water because for the water to start coroding the seals air needs to be in the brake system. So technicaly if you bleed your brakes correctly and there is no air in the brake then there should be no damage to the seals.

i got my cotton wheels from my local electrical/plumming places. Sleepers you can buy for about £15 Cant see anyone being able to steal one as they weigh a ton!

this argument is going to go on forever, "dont use water it rots your seals" and so on. but when i used both maguras front and back one was water bled and one was oil bled. the water bled one kicked the oil bled ones arse! although someitmes i orefer the feel of a oil bled brake! You dont need a bleed kit waters free you pretty much cant get it wrong its simple gives a great lever feel! as it doesnt feel as sloggy

Hey, Well i was thinking about having a big london ride in the summer and thought it would work out best if i gave you all a fair old bit of notice so i thought i would post this now! haha what the f**k! Although that scream at the end scared the shit out of me! Oh and there is another nutter called Noddy who lives in the woods and wears a Noddy hat, he rides a really old bike and shouts f**k and b*****d at everyone But because he lives in the woods he doesnt get beaten up much because no one goes there. i was on my way home from work once and he pulled out infront of a car and cave it a swift kick in the grille and kept going which was pretty funny. There are loads more weirdos like a man which walks around with foam wrapped around his foot and a beard which has been getting longer and longer since i was about 5 and a pipe which he never smokes Alan will tell you that these are NOT made up people! i understand what you are saying 100% waynio! What i dont understand completely is... If there was a risk in damaging the freewheel or cranks they should have refused the job! I sure would have! And How does the inner of a freewheel just exsplode? i have been taking freewheels off for ages and never had the centre exsplode thats what i dont understand! What actually happened?

to be fair with you mate, id look at it like this, where i used to work part time (in a local garage) if some one bought a car in and asked for some work to be done and i caused some damages to that car whilst it was in my care i would have to pay for that car to be repaired out of my own pocket which i think is fair. you have taken your cranks and freewheel to a so called respectable place for work to be carried out. they have damaged your belongings in the process and should therefore replace the items they have damaged. it makes sence i mean, if you wanted a f**ked freewheel you could have just done it yourself! If they could not carry out the job withought damaging anyof the components they should not have approved to have done the work for you! If that doesnt work when i come to get my frame ill piss up thier shop window

i use a black a decker one now but i used to use a cheap argoose one, did the job fine! The best discs i have used for grinding rims is pundland 3 for a quid ones! last ages aswell!
