  1. I didn't even know ben was still living round here I used to watch him practice at Heysham should be alright then
  2. Hi everyone, i have just seen that there will be a trials display at morecambe carnival this year i just wondered if it was anyone from this forum, would be great to watch as well
  3. hi there I am currently living in Morecambe the trials activity has dropped off over the last couple of years, everyone I used to ride with has either got a Bmx or a car now but there are a couple who still ride when the sun comes out which is very rarely in Morecambe 1 day sunshine 3 days of rain as a basic ratio ha ha there are some very good natural spots in Heysham village which is a 5 minuet ride away the promenade is full of obstacles small medium and high for any experience level rocks bins walls benches scattered around the place itself is like any seaside town plenty of pubs nothing really for teenagers to do unless they skate or like bowling or trampolining so as you would expect most become bored very easily and turn to a life of petty crime.
  4. A clear laquer will work well to protect the shine. Are your rims definatley painted?, because if there anodised nitromorse wont remove the colour.
  5. bike looks amazing i have the same apart from the front end how does the high rise suit this frame as mine feels really low ?
  6. i dont know if i have ocd but judging by what has been said in previous posts i am starting to think i do so here goes all washing (clothes ) must be folded to the size of one a4 sheet of paper and colour coded even when taking off a t-shirt i have to fold and put not throw, i also lose sleep if things are not symetrical ie on my tv stand, tv in the middle on top, next shelf down sky box perfectly in the middle, next shelf down xbox perfectly in the middle with a controller either side facing the same direction.
  7. i have ridden both disc and magura on the rear and i have to say they both have there good and bad points, if your looking for a brake that will honk with loads of bite and excellent hold go magura (magura pads have softer compounds than disc pads which lets them mould to the shape of your rim whilst braking) on the other hand if you want to ride in mud rain and snow but dont want to grind your rims go disc (disc pads are easier to contaminate but just as easy to clean)
  8. cant see any reason why both male and female axles that are 10 mm shouldnt be able to work together
  9. paint should come of easy enough buddy it was only a rattle can jobby but there are a few nooks and crannys that you may need some sort of wire brush for for example the where the chain stays meet the top and bottom tubes
  10. hey guys just wanted to share this very short video of a recent lancaster ride, there are more clips to be added in the future but this is how it stands at the moment . http://youtu.be/ARrhzquaPbU all comments welcome ps, i know one helmet is on order
  11. i had pretty much the exact same thing your describing ,not sleeping, irratable when awake and it took me what felt like years to nod off for a long time i had to fall asleep listening to music which helped alot as mikee said background noise is a really useful tool in combating (spelling) sleep deprivation or sleep anxiety. it still takes me ages to fall asleep but i have put it to good use working nights ,after a twelve hour shift my body screams sleep but it can usually still take about an hour of listening to music. also try not to go down the sleeping pill route as they sometimes have som bad side affects.
  12. no problem glad i could help
  13. just a tip for you, you might find it easier (riding right foot forward) to turn to the left instead of the right, when on your back wheel. You just did'nt seem comfortable too me other that that there some good riding, keep up the good work
